I wasn't overly thrilled with this competition. I happen to like events at the Memorial Auditorium but hated the warmups here yesterday. The comp did run smooth and it clearly was the beginning of the season as so many teams had falls/blunders but I can see the potential and can't for the season to progress to really see how well some of these squads will do.
Also, I have to mention the the Intn'l Senior Hip Hop team from Starstruck was so classy at the awards ceremony. It was sportsmanship at it's finest! Nice job guys!!
Agreed! This competition was run great from beginning to end. I am happy to have attended such a great competition with so many great teams performing. This season is proving to be a great one, and I, too, cannot wait to see the progression of all the teams.
And, the International Hip Hop team from Starstruck did exhibit great sportsmanship, but I observed great sportsmanship throughout the entire day from many athletes and parents throughout the venue. I walked by several people interacting with others telling them how well the other teams did, etc...
It is refreshing to see amazing friendly competition. I hope to see more of it as the season and this sport grows.
