1. Champion Outlaws-original powerhouse california team.. no comparison
2. South Bay Elite- just always bring entertaining routines
3. American Cheer- great stunts and pyramids
4. Fierce- up and coming program, LOVE the uniforms
5. Airborne- another up and coming program.. they are fierce.
other good ones -pyramids- nice tight motions and very clean look to their teams -power cheer- amazing every year - california all stars- very hot team, but sloppy at times -OC all stars- very strong -Cheer Force- OMG can we say Florida style in cali, watch out cheer world
1. American- I think 3rd at worlds says it all 2. California (rock stars) - so fun to watch 3. Champion Outlaws- the originals "often intiminated, never duplicated" C-house! 4. South what? SOUTHBAY 5. Power- repedative, but super clean and sharp, they get the job done.
(im suprised no one has said west coast mavericks)
teams i wanna see dominate this year: -Airborne -Fierce -Orange Crush -
1 cheerforce by far one of the best out there 2 american what can i say except , they are da bomb 3 pyramids very solid routines when they hit it 4supreme i agree they are good towards the end of the season (step it up supreme) 5 sbe also one of the best out there
i would not put west coast mavericks because i think that they are not the way they use to be ... sorry but thats my opinion.
These are the teams that I absolutely love to watch perform...
California, their routines flow into and out of sections so nicely South Bay, HIGH ENERGY American, Damn! Can those girls stunt, even the little babies! Stars Extreme, fun routines with good difficulty all around Power, Solid as a rock
Other teams that should be promising this year...
Cheer Xplosion, Small Sr Lvl 4 looked amazing at Jamfest last weekend Airborne, their small coed rocked Cheergyms.com summer jam comp Pyramids, can't wait to see their juior advanced kids take the floor Motions, saw their kids at summer jam they had some impressive tumbling skills Roseville Cheer Stars, cleaned up and are looking strong
From last year, I was very impressed (and usually am always impressed with...)
California All Stars Champion Outlaws Santa Rosa Elite (Now Airborne) American Cheer
But if you know me well enough...
I think that some ugly double downs are gorgeous. I think there are some teams that make sloppy look good. I think there are some boring routines that are seen as perfect. I think there are some tumbling passes that look simple but are actually very difficult.
I may be cheer-illiterate, but this is just what I like.

It's something different to think about.
Bryan Motions Coed
TOTALLY AGREE
my top five: 1. California 2. Champion 3. American 4. Southbay 5. Power
1. Off the Wall - This place is genius. Soccer Soccer Soccer. Just two fields and some benches. I love it!
2. 24 hour Fitness - A workout gym open 24 hours, what's not to love? No matter your schedule, you can work out. Now...if only I joined..
3. City Beach - Rock Climing, Basketball, Volleyball, Bar and Grill....good combo.
4. Los Gatos Athletic Club - Smaller workout gym, first one I've ever joined. I miss the place.
5. Homestead High School Gym - I haven't been in a while, but I imagine it still holds my "Mascot National Champions" banner from 1995. Yes, a Mascot banner hanging from a ceiling.
I am basing my top 5 by the success of a whole program not just one team from that particular gym so here it goes:
1. CheerForce - I love the choreography and there showmanship
2. California - Not only do they have stellar level 5 teams but they had a rocking Senior Level 3 team that had a great year.
3. West Coast Mavericks - Not always the friendliest, but darn if they don't get it done, Loved there Junior team.
4. American - I love the fact thay this program has depth, they not only have an amazing Senior Level 5 team but they consistently put fantastic youth, junior prep and junior teams on the floor.
I really can't think of any other programs that are equal to the above mentioned. Hope everyone has a great season!
hah its kinda funny how the person above me put all cheergyms teams. like ok i know this is a cheergyms board and cheergyms are good, but do u seriously think that illusions and colony rank top 5 in california...i think ur even pushing it with focus and 720 but they atleast have advanced level teams
Hey Jodi loved your post you listed all my favorite Cheergyms too..... Colony and Illusions especially may not be the biggest or the most advanced, but they gotta be the happiest gyms filled with little girls who love cheerleading. Everybody has to start somewhere...watch out in a couple of years these same little girls are going to know your socks off!!
