I saw them on the webcast and they looked great. But I dont think they made it to finals since only 3 us teams got to go. I saw somewhere on facebook that they were 7th after day 1

I think POWER Int 5 got 4th in semis so they just barely missed moving on. Cali Sparkle got 5th and CheerForce Envy 7th? Very hard to make top 3 in this division and move on to finals but all the teams did great!!

I heard that too .. the back walkover-type flip thing in the beginning I think. I'm not sure it's true though and I don't think it would've been that big of a deduction that they would've been in top 10 without it....
but a lot of teams had lots of mistakes in this division

 Someone told me they had issues because half the team was alternates, heard this from several people on the team and a parent, but according to the rules that would be illegal. They might have had 1 or 2 from their gym, the rest were from elsewhere.  I just dont understand how that happen

 Didn't see anything illegal, no top 10.  They didn't have a good performance.  It would take more than a stunt deduction to get you from 10th down to 30 something.  After seeing the score summary, looks like they had deductions in several elements. Even with a huge deduction Cali Elite was still in 2nd after day 1.
