Worlds Block Party?

I heard the park will still be open for the teams but the party/dance has been cancelled. Is this true and if so does anyone know why?

That is true...the dance and dj have been camceled...I heard it was because of the trouble that would happen and some kids would drink and the ...let say "expressive" dancing...they did away with that part and are opening more rides instead

jbjrmom is correct. The DJ is cancelled. Everything else is still running, plus additional rides.

The only clarification is that it's because of things that DID happen and that they didn't want to happen again.

Thank you Ace Dad for the clarification.

Does the USASF think that those things will not happen because there will not be a DJ or dancing? Unfortunately the kids that break the rules will break the rules. The teams that are not chaperoned will still not be chaperoned but the kids that do follow the rules will be paying the price for those that do not.

What happened to ...if you or your team is caught breaking any USASF rule, code of conduct, etc. your team or program could be in jeopardy of not being allowed to compete at Worlds the next year?  I don't remember exactly how it was worded but that's the jest of it.

Here's the language:

BEHAVIOR/RISK COMPLIANCE
1. I agree to follow all safety, sportsmanship, hotel and performance rules both by the letter and spirit of the rule.
2. I agree to abide by the eligibility stipulations and substitution rules as determined by the USASF and I understand that if a violation is
reported, I may be required to supply eligibility verification to event officials.
3. I understand if one or more members of our team is found to be ineligible, is destructive to Disney property and/or competition-related
property, or behaves inappropriately, our team will:
A. Be disqualified.
B. Be responsible for repaying the total cost of any funds received through a Paid or Partial Paid bid.
C. Will not be eligible for any type of bid to The Cheerleading Worlds for the following year.
4. I understand our registration will not be entered/processed without this signed form.

Believer, I don't know the answer to your question.

Thank you once again.  I think that item 3 A, B, and C pretty much covers it. It's a shame that USASF did not stand by this in previous years.
