10. What would be a perfect competition weekend if your team DIDN'T win? We did our best on the floor and simply got beat. I'm not in to the whole amusment park, site seeing stuff. I only go to compete.

NO superstition, you should always watch your competition to have a clear judgement of how you want to be and just to have a fair judgement of the division. Also its good to watch other teams to know what competing is all about.
5. What cheer hairstyle do you PERSONALLY prefer? High pony tail, curly hair =) 6. What bugs you about judges and judging? Nothing really. I agree with the last person, judges do the best they can do and usually are non-bias.
7. What bugs you overall about competitions? I hate when competitions are to long or when they take LONG breaks. Keep the teams going and it will be alot smoother.
8. Do you like to travel by bus, car or airplane? Alone, with your family/friends or as a team? Bus with the teams, but not for longer than 8 hours =) 9. How do you feel about missing some school for competitions and travel? It's fine, but I make sure I get my homework before I leave. I like good grades.

If i could watch my division i would love to just because there is so much talent but i dont watch praying that they fall or anything like that. Superstition...Probably not the better team whens i guess.

Ive never been to UCA Nationals, but on TV they are always my favorite to watch. UCA has always been my absolute favorite Cheerleading organization.

Marine World. Ive never competed AT marine world but when we did go, it rained and we were forced to compete at a Junior High School.

Jumps. I've always been front and center for that part =)

I watch my division only too see how much I need to step it up when I take the mat. Usually I can only watch the other teams in my division only during warm ups, but watching them from the front is a rarity.

I'm not a judge, I wouldnt know.

The lack of space in front of the mat while you are performing.

I only like traveling with friends on the team. I wil travel there any way possible, each way I get there it makes memories! =)

It messed up a lot of school for me. howvere, it was worth it. Cheer is what I'm doing with my life, not with school.

It would be a perfect competition weekend if I met a lot of new people, got closer with my teammates, and had traveled somewhere for the first time (ie, Atlanta should be AMAZING.. I've nver been there) to compete. Last year for example, I had never been to San Diego and I competed there at Battle By the Bay, and i met a lot of cheerleaders on Champion Outlaws, I saw sunny San Diego, and I got to know my teammates a lot better by staying up late at night and telling stories and jokes and playing games while curling hair... It was a great experience even though I dropped my stunt on both days and cried about it... lol

[im not a fan of marine world or great america... only because the floors aren't the best.. and so not everyone can do their best..]

[i like it all.. sunts are AWESOME because i love the thrill of making sure every stunt stick.. tumbling is fun when u know u can land it.. or u are inspired to tumble after seeing a difficult pass.. and the dance is just awesome to work out.. it gets the crowd interested and they cheer a lot more! =) ]

[if theres a team in our division and i happen to look at them and watch.. i will.. but i don't look for them on purpose... or try and pshyc myself out.. my team should only worry about my team.. and thats what makes us strong.. worring about ourselves before everythign that otehr teams have.. ]

[i prefer the NATURAL looking wigs.. only becase i have naturally curly hair and now that i have to streighten it a lot.. it gets fried.. i don't care that much.. but if i had a choice.. i would probably say NATURAL wigs.. but the streight ponys a very in thing latley.. so who knows.. i don't really care haha]
6. What bugs you about judges and judging?
[nothing really.. except for anaheim last year.. my team did the BEST they ever did the entire season.. and i personally think we were judged unfairly.. i was very pleased with my team and so was everyone else.. but knowing we got 11th the first day outta 21.. with a good performance.. and then making a semi flawless routine the second day and not moving up... just kinda bummed me out...]
7. What bugs you overall about competitions?
[nothing.. its basically a DREAM!.. listening to cheer music all day and being with my best friends.. who could ask for more?!]

[BUS with FRIENDS/TEAM!! i think most of the team bonding happens in those places and even though most of them were at the end of the year.. a lot of ppl get a long a lot better.. its just fun for all..]

[i don't mind it.. i always am allowed to make up the work.. and my teachers approve.. so i would miss any school for any competition! its part of the contract u sign.. lol]

Of course, we are usually watching them from behind the screen or whatever though. I think it helps to see a team do well, it makes you want to do that much better. Plus, advanced teams are most fun to watch :)

when they have breaks! ever, keep it going. One year also, we had to compete at 930 or 10pm because there were so many teams, i would rather not do that, especially when you have to re-curl your hair that night!

Team! airplane! Busses take sooo long. We travel together as a team, and I wouldnt want it any other way.

Its usually just a couple days, not too hard to make up. Competitions like UCA come once a year, Im willing to miss a day or 2 of school for it.

Its happened before! A perfect competition is doing your absolute best, if that means winning great, if not? thats fine! my perfect competition: American Showcase 2005, we didnt win, but it was the best feeling ever.
