oc senior 5 dropped stunts in irvine because they had just learned brand new worlds partner stunts, they did not have bad mistakes in tumbling and thats where the injuries occured this weekend. It was a complete fluke accident and its sad that you are posting such negative things about them (especially for the injured girls sake). Thank god from what I hear both girls are fine and will be able to compete for worlds. This team has had an amazing season and I know they will do great at worlds. They are such a talented, classy program and I cant wait to see them in Florida!
as for the west coast situation, OC was cheering them on both teams support each other and are so excited to be there for each other at worlds ...im sorry if good sportsmanship bothers you
I saw the same team in irvine and half of the tumblers fell while tumbling and one girl didn't throw tumbling at all. Good sportsmanship dies not bother me but when an announcer tells you to move and you roll your eyes at them and stay there that's just rude.
Get over yourselves people and stop starting drama! OC and West Coast support each other 100%, WC coaches asked OC to come support them on the floor. Geeez, get a life....
You are 100% right and the funny thing is, these teams will continue to support eachother no matter what is said here. Great job OC and WC!
OC coaches are very good friends with the West Coast coaches. They asked if OC girls would go sit to support their senior 5 team as it was there first time performing there routine. So OC went and supported them so they would be pumped up and know people want to watch them. They were not being rude. OC and West Coast worlds team are also going to have practices together to get ready for Worlds so they like to support each other. Also the tumbling collision was a fluke! its not like it has happened at any of there practices. This was the first time this has happened...It could have happened to anyone on any team.
P.S. the girl did not throw tumbling because she got hurt in warmups and they are trying to have her heal as fast she can for Worlds. Also OC does have 2 teams going to worlds their Senior level 6 team is going(:

p.p.s. The girl is fine and was not hurt in warmups. Her wrists have been bothering her and she has been under the weather for the past week. No competition, no reason to risk it. Also, the crash from Day 1, both girls are fine. Both were able to perform for Day 2 but again, no competition, no reason to risk.
OC will be bringing their Small Senior 5, Open All Girl 6 and Senior Jazz to World's.
By all means everyone, we have nothing to hide. If you are ever curious as to something we are doing, please ask. Unless it is detrimental to our business, we have no problems clearing up information.
Lastly, I apologize for our program if our kids were in the way of the West Coast athletes and fans during their Senior 5 performance. I know our kids were excited for West Coast and perhaps their enthusiasm (and maybe a little teenage attitude) got the best of them.

why do you guys find the need to post these negative remarks. there were so many athletes from OC to support the WCA Sr. 5 everyone was able to see fine. i was sitting in the back right corner behind oc! i seen fine. im happy to see the support there going to give each other at worlds.
I think OC has a wonderful program, and I'm sure you will find girls and parents in EVERY program booing or doing something that isn't respectful. I didn't know that about OC and West Coast being sister teams. But, I do think parents who go down to watch their kid should sit in the first rows.
Oh no... the OC Parent Team video!!!! I knew this would eventually come up on the message boards!!!! :)
I think we rocked the house... just sayin!
I just watched the video and you guys are really good and funny! Was that a cutout of a cheerleader you had?
That's a cut out of Dina(: She was on the parent team, but she got diagnosed with Leukemia ): So they had to have her in the routine somehow(; ! And the shirts they are wearing are also for Dina!
Dina was and is our inspiration!! She fell ill while we were in Vegas for Jamz and was later that weekend diagnosed with Leukemia. The OC Allstars Parent Team was an amazing group of moms and dads who came together (along with the support of our entire gym) to help Dina and her family during this time. Her daughter cheers at OC on the mini level 2 (pink) team and yet it has always been Dina's dream to be a cheerleader. Without her, there would never have been a "parent team." We even Skyped with her during our practice which gave her something to look forward to while she was receiving treatment at Hoag Hospital. We have had numerous fundraisers such as pancake breakfast, shirt sales, supportive yellow bracelets and we are all walking in support of Dina for the Light the Night Leukemia and Lymphoma walk in September. Coach Mandy had the idea to have a cardboard cut out of her made so that she could still compete with us, and boy was she surprised when that opening first stunt hit!!! It was truly one of the most amazing experiences; not only did we cheer for our kids, and for OC but we cheered for Dina. Simply a beautiful 2 minutes and 30 seconds....and entertaining to boot!!!
