heres the thing its not illegal shes not breaking USASF rules.
ummm wheres the problem? because you guys find it tacky? umm not a valid reason. if someone stopped doing what they were doing becuase people thouht it was tacky they wouldnt get very far. so you GO Fierce! next comp. i want a flyer on my car window :) lol
@Fierce coach.....of course you are going to defend the thought of putting flyers on the cars, because they are your programs flyers!!! Funny thing is you have attended competitions and not put flyers on cars but you did it at the local sharp competition where you knew the local gyms SA and mystic were attending!!!! please also, explain the anonomysous txts that are being sent to SA and mystic kids and parents regarding your tryout info????? Do ehos worried????? I think your actions speak volumes!!!!!
It is my personal hope that FierceCoach doesn't respond to this rediculous post. She gave an opion like any other and you've added so much more than is necessary. Perhaps there's someone playing both sides against the middle because Fierce families are also receiving emails from local gyms regarding tryout information. To that I say, no worries. People will choose the gym of their liking and there isn't much that an email, text or flyer can do about that. Just chill...please! Your making your gym look bad with these accusations and the push to argue about something that will never be settled on these boards. Take it to the mat like everyone else and be done with insults, inuendo, or finger pointing. This is all getting entirely out of control.

Haha That is funny because just a few days ago fierce people were talking about how another gym sent emails with tryout info to their athletes and how tacky that gym is and how they are to classy to do stuff like that. I guess not
I just think its stupid to talk mess about other people for targeting your athletes then you do the same to someone elses.
Actually we attended the Ontario Cheersport competition in early March and we also put flyers on cars there as well. I don't find putting flyers on a mass amount of cars to be a personal attack at all. We have also put them on cars at the local mall in Victorville and various other shopping centers throughout Apple Valley, Hesperia, and Victorville. I see the topic as a way to advertise your business without being rude to other programs. It is in no way an attack on anyone. If you would like to put a flyer on my car go ahead. It's the one with the big FIERCE sticker on the back! I will gladly brush it off and not make a big deal out of it. There are much bigger things to put time and effort into, than to worry about a silly piece of paper. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to come onto a public forum and talk so rudely, especially since no one got the flyers anyway because someone paid kids to take each flyer off every car. Next time if you have a problem why don't you private message me. As for your accusal of text messages - I and the FIERCE staff, have no way of fully controlling over 300+ kids and parents associated with our gym. I can assure you one thing though - NONE of our staff members would ever text message any kids from any other program giving details about tryouts. Nor do we even know anyone that cheers at Spirit or Mystic. If someone you know is receiving text messages from someone saying they are a coach at FIERCE, THEN THEY ARE LYING.
Now - I feel like I need to clear some things up. This is for everyone to read. There have been many rumors going around about our gym and what's going on in the High Desert - so let me just tell you what's really going on. And let me make myself clear - this is 110% the truth.
Myself and Casey (my fiancee and coach of our small limited coed 5 team) bought a home in the High Desert back in April 2010. Another coach, Laryn, also lives up here. It has become very difficult on our growing families to make the drive down to Rancho every day of the week. Casey and I have two bubbly boy toddlers and just welcomed our baby girl into the world in January of this year. Laryn's family is also growing as she and her hubby are expecting their second child in August. We are NOT AT ALL ready to give up coaching but can not make the commute down to Rancho everyday and have been wanting to open a gym in the high Desert for some time now. The opportunity arose and we were all so excited!!!! The High Desert, IMO, is a huge landscape with much room for another all star program. It was in no way shape or form to take anything from anyone. Now, I would be lying if I said we didn't receive a huge amount of response from local cheerleading families in the HD. But, when we did received their phone calls and emails, we only gave information on our program and the details on our future High Desert location. We NEVER in any way down talked Spirit. My fiancee and I actually enjoy their program and have loved watching their international team this past season.
We had originally wanted to rent space from a local gymnastics facility, but we got kicked out of this facility for undisclosed reasons. Now, this gymnastics facility is being rented by Spirit, for their Victorville location. I'm not going to go into all the details of how this situation played out, but needless to say, it is obvious that we are not wanted in the High Desert by some certain individuals. This personally made me very upset as we have never done anything malicious to anyone. We decided that since anywhere we would try to rent space from we would probably get kicked out of, that we would get our own gym. In some ways it was a blessing in disguise.
We have never had anything but respect for Spirit. We respect each and every all star program. After all, the goal of this industry, is to further the growth of all star cheer and that's all we're trying to do. If you hear anything else then you are hearing babble and not truth. So to clarify, this move was to have a gym that's closer to our homes and to grow our program and all star cheer.

well ive done it before, in front of there staff. and they had no problem with it.
Well, maybe if you ask permission from the owners it would have been different. Doesn't matter to me either way. I just know they would not allow a gymnastic gym to do it! : )

They said their Email Account was hacked into.. I think that is a little different than putting flyers on cars...
