I have know idea what gym(s) you are talking about but I love your comment..."Train your own kids!" So true.
The thing is..on the "train your own kids" thing....sometimes a customer wants something else...and we as customers have a right to choose where we go...so sometimes training your own.....you still lose some....just do your best and do a God grant me the seranity check now and then....I think people forget that there is no pink slip to humans....I was a hairstylist for years....I used to laugh when a salon would sell and say "clientele included"....I believe we all end up where we are supposed to be...of our own free will....:)
Anyone that loves their gym is going to stay at their gym and if they are curious, then they are allowed to look and know about their options. Putting a card on parked cars is harldy a heavy attack. Now if they were walking up to a girl in their uniform and handing them a card-that's too much, but they want to go to around to random cars that could have gone to an aunt, uncle, friend, that may not even be on the team is their choice.
If you talk about the gym and this, then I guess they succeeded. If you want a gym to go away-ignore them don't give them more press here. You just aided your competitition.

jbjr mom....You are absolutely correct. Point well taken.
However I completely disagree with recruiting at a competition. If someone is looking to leave a gym chances are they are not happy with their current gym and know where they want to go next. I think leaving flyers on cars or wherever at a competition seems desperate and quite frankly disrespectful to the program owners and coaches who's teams where competing. Again I do not know what competition this happened at or what gym(s) did it. But as a parent I would think twice about the professionalism and integrity of that/those gym(s) and whether my child should be there. Just my opinion of course and probably not that of the majority.

Has anyone heard anything about One Athletics? I haven't seen them at all this year and tried to go to their website but it said it didn't exist? Are they closing? I enjoyed their teams the past few years...
