I was impressed with their lrg sr 2, guess I was too busy thinking their stunts were good and missed something b/c they got last in their division

This is Ultimate Cheers second season. Thanks for the compliment....we thought they looked great too! Our senior coed 4 did awesome too...1st place! There were definitely some judging issues (I'm not saying we were misfairly judged at all). Our lg youth 2 team competed last week at jamz with the exact same routine (and had them look at it backstage for legality issues) and jamfest said we had an illegal component. Seems weird that the same rules can be interpreted so differently....but such is life! We had fun and enjoyed watching all the other teams! Big comp for sure!!!

JamGlam was a great competition, all the teams did awesome. Although, I dont really care for that venue as it seems so cramped, I always wonder what would happen if someone yelled "FIRE!!!" Oh, and someone please ban bullhorn sirens at competitions!!!

I thought this was a pretty good competition except for having to go through three awards ceremonies. It was also great to see so many talented younger kids out there. I think my favorite of the day was absolutely OC Junior 4. Love, love, love their whole pyramid concept. Don't know the name of their female coach, but I just have to share something I witnessed. One of her very young teams had just walked off the floor and was obviously very upset about whatever happened in their routine. She pulled them aside and with a smile on her face said, "what makes a good cheerleader is picking yourself up after you fall, and that is what you did. I couldn't be more proud of you." All of the girls faces changed and they all bounced out of the lobby. So, good job to you.

My daughter is on OC Jr 4; those girls have been together for a very long time and if they stick together they will make an amazing level 5 team one day (IMO).

Dana is the coach you were referring to and we love her to pieces, she is simply awesome!!  smile

Oh, and that little boy from Ultimate who was dancing, wow!!! He is/was incredibly talented and super fun to watch!!!!! biggrin
