Ultimate Cheer large youth 2 got Grand Champs for levels 1 & 2 (and won their division). Senior Coed level 4- Rockstar Athletics got 1st, Ultimate Cheer got 2nd and Sierra Springs Spirit got 3rd. That's all I have...sorry!
Unfortunatly I wasn't able to attend this comp. Congratulation to power and all american on the bids though! also I just wanted to ask and see if it was true... was the ultimate allstars in youth level 2 really a level 3 team before this comp. IM0 I don't think it would be fair to give them the grand champion for level 1-2 if they are a level 3 team due to the fact that obviously a level 3 teams could hit better then a level 1 or 2 team can.

even if they were a level 3 does always mean they would hit a better routine on the lv 2 div. i know someone who was lv 5 and went lv 2. and dropped at NCA Dallas last yr and came in 7th.. just because your tumbling skills are good doesnt alwasy mean your stunting is great as well.. if ultimate wanted to go lv 2 let them soon enough there wont be any "sandbagging" once the rule is set on stone (or if it ever is set)

Just to clear things up, I am one of the coaches for Ultimate's Youth Green and no they are a level two team and have been one all season as they should be. These kids have worked so hard this season to be where they are now and we are so proud of them. They went out there and nailed the routine twice (even after changes on Sunday). Congratulations to all the teams this weekend, and thanks for thinking our kids are good enough for a level 3 team. If we can get some more tumbling hopefully they will be next year. Ami

Well then I completly apologize. I heard it from a friend who was at the comp and they watched and in the music it said youth 3 or something along those lines. So

Did anyone else hear from their child that there was a coach from a gym that was not compettiing this weekend, who seemed intoxicated, and was in that back warm up room talking with kids from different teams?

Yes, heard about this from several friends who were at this competition.
unless you saw it or heard it yourself no need to spread any rumors. So far this board has been pretty drama free and next to no bashing, lets keep it that way; the board has been far more enjoyable.
