THE GIRLS ARE VERY TALENTED BUT SOME OF THERE SKILLS ARE NOT LEVEL 5.  I'VE SEEN VIDEOS OF  THE LAST TWO COMPS AND I AGREE WITH LUV2CHEER I DONT KNOW  HOW THEY ARE OUT SCORING TOP TEAMS. NOT EVERYTHING IS THERE. THEY JUST RECEIVED AN INVITATION SO IT'S NOT PAID. BUT CONGRATS TO WESTCOAST.

Whatpart of running fulls, combo fulls, standing one through to fulls, 2 and 3 to fulls, full ups, 2 man partner stunts and clean choreography don't you feel are level 5 skills?

Stop hating and have some integrity, because really, youre sounding foolish!

I for one think West Coast did a great job this weekend and made some smart decisions in terms of what they threw on the floor. Although West Coast may not have thrown full squad jumps to tuck or double fulls, what they did do is land what they had and execute. Having seen this team warm up during the "practice round" Friday night, I know they have girls working and landing doubles, but they definitely pulled them from competition both days, which in a division full of deductions, set them apart. A smart and safe choice which definitely paid off seeing as how they got a bid and moved up in their placement. Congrats to West Coast.
Here are the division results I know (from divisions we had teams in)

Mini Level 1:
1st place: Vegas Cheer Authority (as well as judge's choice for stunts)
2nd place: Cheerforce (San Diego I think)
3rd place: Cheerforce (Simi Valley)
4th place: Desert Cheer Xtreme
5th place: Las Vegas Envy

Small Junior Level 2:
1st place: California Allstars
2nd place: Vegas Cheer Authority (judge's choice for pyramid)
3rd place: Cheerforce (Rancho I think)
4th, 5th, and 6th: I didn't catch these unfortunately:(

Large Senior Level 2:
1st place: California Allstars
2nd place: Cheerforce San Diego
3rd place: Vegas Cheer Authority (judge's choice for pyramid) (our kids got bumped all the way from 1st to 3rd due to a pyramid fall during the dismount :( grrrrrrr)

Senior Coed Level 3:
1st place: Vegas Cheer Authority
2nd place: Odyessy Elite Cheer

Great job everyone this weekend! Pretty much everyone was rough on day one, but all programs really came back strong on day 2! Cali Sm Sr looked amazing both days with all the new choreography changes! wow! We use their point dancer as the perfect example of working it out in a dance! Also was suuuuuper impressed with Cheerforce Envy (int coed 5) and was happy to see them get a bid

Well said Chrisvcauthority biggrin

for the rest of the negative nancy's I thought these boards were suppose to be encouraging to one another.  A board where cheerleaders and cheer supporters could go and bond about the sport we love so much. In a world where violence and curruption is all around us, this should be a place to enjoy the sport and be happy for one another's accomplishments.  Wheather we like the other team (WC, Cali, CF, Fierce, or whoever) or agree with placements, bids, skills or uniforms, we should just congratulate the hard work the girls or boys put out on the floor.

Parents who pay thousands of dollars for this sport, deserve better than the negative comments placed on this board.  People in this world are homeless, and unemployed and here we as a cheer organization bash one another after spending thousands.  Really people?

As for the accusations about Fierce, it's their business to deal with, only they know whats going on. (enough said on that)  if your not apart of that gym it's none of your business.

As for those who have become professional "gossip board judges" There is a reason we on this board are not judges.  Obviously they see things we don't see and they see things we as spectators might miss, there is always more than one judge although we don't always agree with them it is what it is.

Please folks don't act like cyber bullies and be positive for goodness sakes It's Christmas Time.  smile  Lets be greatful and thankful for our health, our families and for our ability to travel with our families to these competitions. "REMEMBER NOT EVERYONE MAKES IT SAFELY"  so lets be more thankful for LIFE AND LETS VALUE IT.  Lets value our sport and be greatful.  We have enough stereotyping about our allstars out there don't add to it.

Good Luck and congratulations to all the paid and AT LARGE bid winners and to all the athelets who competed this weekend.  GREAT JOB ! biggrin

Great competition and so great to meet coaches from all over!

Airborne, as I told you Sunday night - you are a class act and I love your teams. You're looking HOT especially with your "Fly In" athlete...so talented!

Cali - what can I say? Such an amazing program with such consistancy. You can expect performance from each team and KNOW that it will be great no matter WHAT gym is on the floor. 21 teams, 19 1st places...congrats.

Oh and to the Fierce Dad Hero....thank you!

Arizona Power Xtreme (APX)

I was not at the competition... but I'm not sure how APX walked away with last and no bid... their routine looks pretty bomb except the bobble in one single leg.
