I thought West Coast got lucky. They did not deserve what they got. Just got lucky. And before you all jump on me no I am not from OC and just tell it like it is!!!!!!
but congrats to OC both Sr. open 5 and Sm 5. they both got a tie for grand champs i think?
They were the only LVL 5 team there which means they can maximize their scoresheet with harder stunts, and tUmbling. Of course they got grand champs! OC did not do good and they know it, and now want to knock WC down- GROW UP.

Just for the record.....I coach Mini 2, Youth 2, Junior 4 and assist on Senior Open 5 at OC Allstars. The only competition my teams had this weekend was in the Youth 2 division and we lost to West Coast. West Coast was on that day. Actually all their teams did great. Even if you added in the deductions we had in that division, we still would NOT have won. West Coast won because the judges felt that they were the better team that day, they did not just win because "others made mistakes". I can't speak for any other division, or programs, but people need to just deal with that is how cheer works. You have good days, you have bad days, and you have days that you tried your absolute best, and still didn't win. I am proud of how all my teams did this past weekend whether they competed against anyone or not. I am tired of people saying this person should have won, or that person should have won. Results are results. You take it, you try to learn from mistakes that are made, and you move on.
I am from OC. And I can tell you that West Coast did not get lucky. They deserved their wins. Speaking on behalf of the staff here at OC, I can tell you that none of us are bitter about it, and none of us think the results should have been different. We all know West Coast earned their wins and there was no luck involved.
We are also not dwelling on it. We (and I'm guessing the staff at West Coast as well) are moving forward and focusing on our next competition.
If you are from OC, I would appreciate that you do as your kids are doing; move forward and focus your energy on our upcoming competition.

OC is very classy and mature. I appreciate this comment.

I agree! Big competition this weekend and I say let's put the energy into it! Good luck in Sacramento! To OC and West Coast and all teams performing! Have fun with it!

I am not saying that YOU are knocking WC down but I am saying that many people on this board are trying to. Not only that but the talking at the competition and on the way out of the comp, after the results from other gyms was obvious and now it is being taken here.
The fact is you people making comments about the judges scores are NOT judges so stop questioning the results. It is what it is, and anyone talking about another gym be it WC or OC, or anyone should be ashamed of themselves.
Just to clarify I am not from WC or OC. I just call it as I see it, and heard it.
I thought West Coast got lucky. They did not deserve what they got. Just got lucky. And before you all jump on me no I am not from OC and just tell it like it is!!!!!!
who said anything about OC before this comment-? Why would you think people would affiliate you with OC? Exactly.
I am not saying that YOU are knocking WC down but I am saying that many people on this board are trying to.
well you replyed to my comment as if i was trying to knock them down.. neither did i see WC or OC teams so i have no right to say if they deserved the win or not...
Thanks for clarifying!
