super six was crazy and fun...crazy fun lol!!! I loved getting to see all my friends, and of course, all the amazing teams and talent! Odyssey had a little bit of a tough first day, but am so proud they came out fighting on day 2. U kids rocked it and gave some amazing performances, now lets go back home and make these routines that much better!
Super six this time around, and maybe even the entire gssa comp felt so much nicer. For the most part everyone seemed to get along. There was so much good sportsmanship; competing teams cheering for each other, coaches exchanging genuine expressions of good luck, and just an overall positive vibe. I really think GSSA's good sportsmanship ruling was a success and am so glad someone decided to make that a necessity.
All the teams in the super six, (small senior showdown, plus 2) were amazing. All of them deserved a bid, and it was nice to see that kind of recognition and attention to detail. for 3rd performances, these kids were still on fire. They looked polished, seasoned, and ready for Worlds, so in that light and many others this competition was a success.
Despite all this, my favorite part of the entire comp was awards and after, because it just seemed like a different northern california. We were all together, laughing, taking pictures, and stunting regardless the uniform color or emblem. I LOVED it, and it made the night just feel complete, because we knew no one was going home with a bad taste in their mouth. Thank u my love nicole nicosia, for letting me toss around ur center boy hahaha!!! I'm glad we didn't hurt him hahaha!
ok sorry this was so long. Congrats OC, PCM, and CF, u are all amazing. To my Wolfpack boys and girls, we'll get em next time =) peace, love, cheer - coach b
PCM was amazing. Such an outstanding program with great coaches, supportive parents, and genuinely nice and deserving kids! Thanks for coming up and giving us all a little PC MAGIC! Can't wait to see u at worlds!
