RE: GSSA - Who's going?

does anyone know how much it will cost to get in/park? I want to bring friends, but I'm hoping it's not too expensive to come watch

I heard West Coast is performing in shorts, no uniforms, and none of their teams are ready for a "competiton" except one team, Youth 2. Thats too bad.

$10 per spectator and $10 to park

why do I vaguely remember this comp being free admission? did it used to be or am I thinking of something else? I thought they were connected to Jam Brands somehow and the Jamfest events were free admission

yeah, I was thinking Jamfest, but I thought GSSA became a Jambrand last year.  I guess I was wrong.

furious "YOU HEARD" from who " Luv@Cheeer"? somebody who doesn't know what they are talking about.  Get over yourself and don't start rumors little kid.  What's to bad, is people like you exist in the world, rumor starters, trouble makers.

All the teams in every gym will be as ready as they can be and we should wish everyone the very best of luck.

Lola,

I heard from a friend of mine who is a member there. FYI I myself saw the teams at practice and they are NOT ready for a competition, showcase, or anything. You can say what you want but we will all see for ourselves Saturday!

You honestly need to shut up there is west coast supporters here there kids and parents. Who are you to determine if there ready for competition? Your offending a lot of people these kids worked hard all summer. And we will see. And you'll be suprised that there ready there actually more then ready. And they'll probablly school you in cheer :)

@luv2cheer...Why would you post such bitter remarks about West Coast?....your posts are rude, and flat out mean!! Who would go to someone else's gym to watch a practice, take information that was given to them by a so called "friend",  then post  derogatory remarks? Your intentions are obvious. I'm sorry you are threatened and feel the need to post such hurtful statements. Every athlete in every gym works hard and has pride for their gym and their team.  Please don't try and take that away from the West Coast Athletes.

Good luck to West Coast, and all the Southern California teams competing Saturday.  I hope you all "hit", have fun, and most of all, stay safe.

P.S.  These questions are not rhetorical...I'd really like an answer.

OKay everyone lets not start the season out on a bad note. Everyone will look like its their first competition, so? When it comes to Jan Feb, if the teams are not looking competition ready then ya there is a problem.

@luv2cheer I think you meant to say something constructive and obviously worded it wrong. I think if WC performs in shorts then hey you know what its the first comp. Probably not what they expected but remember these are new uniforms for this gym maybe they are still getting them.

@ everyone upset over the comment- come on guys- yes it was rude to talk specifically about one gym however lets not be too mean. No need to keep this going. WC has always had GREAT teams, just think their SENIOR 5 team was .09 away from the finals at worlds! Can't wait to see what they bring this year! and lets not forget their SENIOR 2 team was very good last year too. Also I beleive it was there Youth 1 team was amazing last year.

Lets hope everyone has a good comp, and we will all come back on Saturday and talk about it!!!!

furious You heard from a friend "luv2cheer".....really. hmmmmm let me guess you probably heard from a level 2 cheer friend, since they are the only alleged WC level team ready.  Let me advise you little kid.  NEVER EVER  take what a level 2 chearleader says about a level 5 team.  That's cheer 101.  since you "luv2cheeer" so much learn the sport and the etiquette before you open your mouth.

Im not from any gym but I have seen some showcases and well no one is  Worlds ready at this point.  But I see from your other posts "You think OC and PCM will take it".  Again,  little kid, those gyms have very good relationships with WC.  They cheered eachother on at Worlds in fact the Gym owners are all good friends.  STOP MAKING OC AND PCM LOOK BAD, NO ONE WANTS NEEDS NEGATIVE NANCY'S LIKE YOU STARTING DRAMA.

TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK TO YOUR LEVEL 2 TEAM AT COMP.

confuse  Oh BTW luv2cheeer, last year OC wore shorts and sports bras to one of their competitions before they got their uni's.  If what you say is true what's the big deal, it's much more comfortable anyhow.

Just proves you are just trying to start drama.  SO SAD.

The entire OC gym will be wearing shorts at their first competition this weekend.

Edited to add:  Except for Scott.  He will be wearing pants.
