I hope that everyone who attended the family picnic on Sat had a great time. It was so nice to see so many new faces. I hope everyone enjoyed the pool, the food the games and the company. I would like to thank the moms from the JPI team who helped serve the wonderful lunch.. Lou for being incredible and doing the BBQ in the 105 heat... what a trooper... Ed, for calling the numbers in the Bingo game. Danny, Derick, Billy, Angie, Jeff, Marlon for coming and making the kids so happy.. Dorrie, for taking a group to the Giants game Fri and Sat so I could stay home and get things done. Sarah Torres for loaning us the moster BBQ and her donation of Chocolate Chip Cookies.. they were so good... KC... thank you for ordering the Jumpie.. I think the staff enjoyed it :) Megan, Lloyd, Larry, Katie for setting up things and most of all Judy....... thank you for going to Costco with me.. and helping me thru the week.. I couldn't have done it without you..
Just wanted to share something that another parent called and told me...
She said that her daughter told her that she had so much fun because she now had so many new friends. That she can't wait to go to the gym and see them.
Another Parent made the comment:
My daughter was kinda worried that she wouldn't know many people when she got here and now I can't get her to come.
Anyone can be part of a cheerleading squad or team.. But always remember this.

I truly am looking for to this incredible year and to meeting more of this incredible family..
And most of all thank you, Alicia! That was so much fun! I cannot tell you how great of a time I had. It is not often that the kids will or do get to see me being myself. Usually they just get to see me in my "gym/coaching" mode and I appreciate the opportunity getting to know them and interacting with them and just having fun!
Thank you so much for putting together this fun day for our Pyramids family. To the Farr family, thank you for opening your home to all of us. This is our fifth season with Pyramids and the picnic has always been a highlight. I am so glad it is back (we missed not having it last year!).
Jeff, The girls loved seeing the "fun" side of you. Thanks for hanging out and playing with them. They were still talking about it Sunday! I got some great pictures for Danny to post!!!! :)
Ed, that chicken was sooooooo goooood. MMMmmmm. And even though I do my best to avoid eating chocolate chip cookies they were so gooey and warm I had to eat two!
As newcomers to Pyramids, we had a lot of fun, everyone was great, Emily is having lots of fun making new friends, and thanks to all the older kids in the pool who kept bringing back the inflatable aligator back to little Mikey to play with, I'm sure next year he'll be out of that lifejacket and begging the girls to stunt him in the water too!
Alicia and Judy, everything was great, the only thing that would have made it perfect if it was about ten degrees cooler! At least the pool was cold and the kids didn't mind splashing all us parents! It was a great spread of food, everything was delicious, and even though I was dying in the heat and tired from running that morning, I had a great time.
