I think that the cut and color of shorts is just as important as the cut and color of skirts. I've seen skirts that weren't flattering either. OC's and Power's skirts were awesome and I loved seeing Bladez shorts (they were the first "shorts team" I ever saw) I wasn't a huge fan of Fierce's shorts. I thought they should be classified more as briefs. Too short and too tight and I think they would've been better if they were black with pink stripe or star or something. JMO.

Since I have worn both, I love my shorts.  Skirts often fly up when you tumble and turn around.  Shorts are more convenient in my opinion because you dont have to worry about pulling it down or adjusting it to the front before you execute a skill or stunt.  The shorts arent going anywhere.  The only objection I have is that they arent so small that you are hanging out of them.  Just like a skirt it should be kept tasteful and appropriot for any audience:)
