Everyone is talking about how many teams . . . I would be interested in how many athletes?  What are the true numbers?  How big is all star becoming?

I did notice that some gyms are saying  Look how many teams we have, but how many total athletes do they have? Are all your teams small, if so are they maxed out or do you only have 10-15 kids on some of those teams without counting crossovers more then once. It is an interesting slight of hand.

Good Question,

I think that people are still adding kids to their teams so maybe numbers have not finalized for a lot of gyms.

Cali has three gyms, right?
PCM has two gyms, right?
And OC just one gym?  Wow those are great numbers.  Looks like a great start for the season.

How about some of the Northern California gyms? I would love to see some numbers from those gyms in NorCal...

I have a friend that when she checked her try out results at PCM said they only had about 250 at that point. They must have picked up a lot of kids since try outs!

Im 100% positive they are still around. Then didn't get bought out by cheerforce and all of the girls did not go to cheerforce. From their website looks like they have 6 teams this year. Tiny, mini, youth, junior, and 2 senior. Not sure what levels though. I know they have a senior open 5 but thats about it.

Knowing Team OC (Stealth) as I do, you would be mistaken to think that they won't quickly recover from the setback of losing some coaches. They have a strong organization, tremendous facility, and a focused owner. I'm sure they will find, if they have not already, new fresh leadership and will be better than ever. That doesn't mean that the other group can't be successful also, hope they do. But as Mark Twain once said, "the rumors of my (Stealth) demise are greatly exaggerated".
