the semi-limited division was so messed up. disbelief.
there are some teams who deserved to make finals and didnt.

Actually I watched all the videos and I don't really see how you are saying it was messed up. I think the teams who made finals totally deserved to be there. JMO

I agreed with all of the semilimited placements :) if anyone could have said it was messed up it should be EPIC, I thought they should have been in finals for sure. Too bad they got deducted for the same pyramid they have had all year :\

I disagree with semilimited placements going in to finals. Won't put team names out there but there were teams that were placed in the top going to finals who had stunt falls, tumbling errors, layouts passes, and one teams pyramid fell apart. IMO

We are super proud of our girls from South Coast Freestyle. They had some really tough teams this year in Senior Pom and Senior Jazz. We received 4th in Senior Pom (with a dropped pom -- my kid even --oh well stuff happens) We moved up 1 place from day 1 and was 1 point away from 3rd. Best placing the gym has ever had in this division. Especially since West Coast Pom is so different than East Coast Pom...

Senior Jazz -- 6th place -- another really tough division, with some incredible talent. It seemed the trend that the judges liked this year was the "in your face" passion dancing.

Never got to see the Hip Hop - but heard the international hip hop was incredible.

PACE as usual was phenomenal..props to them! Even though they beat us all season this year here on the west coast, I think it really helped to push our girls to be even better and more prepared for worlds this year!
Senior Pom 2nd
Senior Jazz 1st
Intl Pom 1st
Intl jazz 1st (an incredible routine -- front aerials into a drop position -- wow)....

In general from the dance perspective -- it was a surreal event for me, Closest thing the the Olympics I will ever come to. Cali was represented very well with 4 teams in both Senior Pom and Jazz. (Pace, SCF, Strut (pom), Squirettes, and Chino Valley (jazz)) and at least 3 of the 4 making finals.

Not sure we will ever make it back there, my DP is trying out for her H/S song team and they don't allow outside competing.. But is she doesn't make it or doesn't like it, we will be back...

I'm Sorry If I Offended You Justacheerkid But It Seems You're The Only One That Had Something Negative To Reply To My Post. Last Time I Checked This Board Was About The Opinions Of Everybody. Of Course There Are Different Opinions That Tend To Result In "Drama" But I Don't Think That Anything I Said Was Completely Out Of Line. Yet Again Just Another Opinion.

Worlds videos on VOD

We're aware that there are still some videos not posted. Here is the message I got today from the person in charge of the VOD:

"I am needing to meet with my editor. However, he is in Long Beach covering the All Levels event this weekend, and his gear is in his studio in Dallas, TX. He and I will be able to touch base on Monday and figure out the remaining files and where they are. We both feel they are in a folder that was overlooked during the event.

I know this news won't be popular with the masses, but it is the only time he and I will be able to move on this."
