congrats on the merge. i hope it works out. :)
curious to know though- are both sets of coaches going to be there? what is the new name? where will you be located out of? new colors?
i can't wait to see the new teams though!

I think those questions were already answered somewhere. If i remember correct, The west coast owners will sill own. Platinum owners will co-own, Both sets of coaches will still work at the gym. They will be called west coast all stars, they are getting a new location inbetween the 2 gyms but untill then they will run out of west coast gym. Same west coast colors but new uniforms. Hope thats right

I think a lot of the teams out here use Best of the West. I remember when I first saw West Coast back when they opened, they'd say (and have continued to say) "Best in the West." smile

it makes sense it's part of their name biggrin

and it's on the intro to their website.

Well they both sound cute and they're both referring to two teams coming together and becoming better and both saying they are the Best in the West.

There's not much more you can do with that, is it really a big deal? confuse

go cheerfan! i completelyagree! why is everyone fretting over a cheer? when in all-star cheerleading, we don't really even say cheers in our routines anymore!

anyways congrats to west coast and platinum! this merge sounds like it will bring the teams to victory!

Seriously, why do all of you people make such a big deal over every little thing? Is your life that simple and boring that you must say something about everything.

So What that West Coast said "Best in the West Just got Better Platinum and West Coast Forever" Who the heck cares

It's just a little saying to express happiness for goodness sakes give it a rest already. did PCM or any other Gym patton the saying "Best in the West" NO they didn't so be quite already.

Focus on good things like great competition and WORLDS. Oh and maybe you negative Nancy's should be concentrating on your good fortune and good health instead of what little saying a cheer gym uses. My Goodness !!!!!!!

All I can say is I met the owner of WCA, and she is AMAZING!!! Intelligent, business minded, and TRULY puts the kids first. We are not part of either team, but the more kids under WCA the better! Completely agree with Tony's comment--how wonderful that athletes will be placed on teams that truly can accommodate their level. Best of luck to WCA and PAS!
