Just to be clear, Cali Allstars DID not buy the NOR Cal Elite Gym. NCE Livermore was not longer NCE Livermore and were looking for a new name or new program to partner with. They ended up becoming part of Cali Allstars. NCE San Jose is still in business.
THey couldnt have picked a better gym to partner with, this is a great opportunity for them! And the NCE San Jose gym will still be strong, there is so much talent there. It would be interesting to know why they split, maybe the commute to San Jose was too much for the ones who had to drive from Livermore? Whatever the reason, this coming season will be fun to watch. Best of luck to both gyms!
American has opened a 2nd location in Bakersfield. 2nd location is a low cost all-star alternative we are offering in hopes of opening up all-star cheer to those where expense is a barrier. We all know how expensive all-star cheer can be and we at American felt there was a need for a less expensive alternative. First week we have over 60 sign-ups and as the word gets out we are adding more... hoping to reach 3 or 4 large squads in this program.

I can't believe NCE Livermore is Cali now! I'm soo excited to see the outcome! This will be great for cheer in northern Cali. Now Cali just has to get a gym in Santa Cruz too. ;)
I love American. There parents and cheerleaders are always friendly. They have an awesome program and I am glad to hear they are expanding. Very noble to offer cheer the the kids who have a hard time affording it.
i was reading on a video of Top Gun that there is going to be a new division called "Medium Limited"?? can anyone confirm it?
I would assume someone is talking about Semi-Limited Coed. It's been around for a few years.
i know what semi limited is..the user said that USASF was going to eventually discontinue unlimited and add medium limited or something like that?
Well, eventually could mean in 5 years or the next millenium, so that's hard to say. But there is no proposal currently being considered that would eliminate unlimited coed. That may change next week, who knows.

I know there is a youth team a Jr 3 and a sr 4, dont know sizes or the other one sorry!
Im pretty sure the other ones senior 2
I heard some athletes say they're on the Senior coed 5 team! Does that mean they are doing a combined team with the so cal location or is there a 5 team at the new Livermore location too?

Looking forward to a good year...Mr. Commentary is here! :)
I think it will be a success, but I don't think they will take away from any of the already established Orange County program. At least not OC or magic. The CF location is a bit of a drive from OC and PCM magic, and people in so cal dont like to drive if they dont have to. especially cheer moms. In my opinion they will take away from PACE Elite and Stealth because those gyms are closer to CF orange county.
