I hate it when teams get scared, and cut two girls out of their team, so that they can be in a smaller division.... maybe that's a bad thing to post the schedule so early....

im sure there is reasoning as to why they got cut not just because they want to be in another division..

don't come over here trying to stir things up... specially if you aren't from the gym you are referring to.

this isnt funny anymore.. as to how much the schedule is changing gyms are setting up meeting times/run troughs! while the company is still adding more more and more teams i understand its money thats coming in for the company but really??

your not going to have gyms coming back if this keeps going on! seriously 4 days before the competition?

maybe its just me but call me crazy oh well!

Anyone else wish they didn't split the divisions? Would've been nice for third place to mean something again.

I do think some of the divisions were over split or unnecessarily split.
I understand teams don't want to get 15th place though ..

Well looking on the flip side if they wouldn't have split Youth Level 1, there would have been about 26 teams in the division. Now if they had a prelims and finals, I would agree, but they don't. Everyone makes it to day 2 and I don't feel you get it correct when you have a certain amount of teams and they don't get cut after day 1. That is one reason why I like Worlds and USA because you weed out the teams. Just my thought.

I love competiton so the bigger the better. I wish they didnt split it either, 26 in a division is cool and I would be happy with 3rd out of 15 or 26 teams rather than 3rd out of 5 teams. sounds like a fun competition, cant wait!

Raesmomma I couldn't agree more! This is exactly the kind of competition that we have been lacking on our coast. When gyms travel to the south/east they do so in search of this level of competitiveness. Let's jump in and enjoy it. Who knows if there'll be another one like this for us...I sure hope there will be though.

Can't WAIT to see all your gyms and mine! I've already made plans to spend time with good friends from other gyms and expect to thoroughly enjoy myself! Sure, I'll be drop dead tired by Sunday night. But what a great way to end the season...and an even better way to see how many of our west coast gyms will begin their new season as well. I frequent Fierceboards.com as well and believe me people from other regions are just as excited for this comp. Let's give em a show and get a little bit more respect for West Coast gyms.

With all sincerety - BEST OF LUCK TO EVERY GYM, EVERY TEAM, AND EVERY ONE! =D

XOXO

So How About Some Predictions?

Im pretty excited for the small junior 2 showdown smile Cheer Central Suns and Cali both undefeated this season.

Small Senior 5 should be a good division. We have all of the small senior 5 teams representing CA at the 2010 cheerleading worlds in one place.

Small Senior 4 B Is STACKED! All Great Teams, That Could Be Anyones Game.

Senior Limited Coed 5 is another Great division. Full Of Talent!!!!!

What Are You Guys Excited For?

This is a great competition, the best this season maybe?   Like others mentioned, I also wish they didnt split some of the divisions, especially when it leaves more in one than the other just because one team has one less member, doesnt make any sense.   As was also mentioned, getting 3rd out of many can be more rewarding and exciting than getting first out of a few.   Good luck to everyone, have fun!

I'm gonna say that at this point I can't make any predictions.  I know the teams that are going to Worlds probably have a lot of new things in their routines that they've never performed so for those teams I say Good Luck and hope you hit!

For the lower levels, I think it's gonna be a great show, with most of them peaking and working on perfecting their routines, they will not disappoint.  It will be exciting the entire weekend.
