............Cherox, if you read Lacin's post correctly you would know that her daughter cheers for WEST COAST. And I agree with you, she is being very bias and bitter. The funny thing is her daughters team won. So why so bitter? No one is taking anything away from West Coast. They had their moment yesterday. They walked away with the win, trophy, medals, and a backpack. Not to mention they were up screaming before their name was even called. (very unsportsmanlike) What about letting PCM have their moment? This is a perfect venue for those who want to vent about what their views are. If you don't like it then don't read.
And in response to cheerfan2008-we won't have to wait until worlds. Both these teams are competing this weekend in Vegas. Can't wait to see how it all pans out under a different rubric.
My Bad I got the names mixed up with everyone else who is acting bitter on here!!!! West Coast has a long standing tradition not to cheer even when they know they have won until their name is called... These girls have not taken a first place this season and this was a huge moment for them. These are teenage girls and let it out. They know that is wrong, and I am sure their coaches will talk to them about that. Like the pther person said though it is hard for teenage girls to hold in this emotion and I do not fault them. PCM did a wonderful jo and got the bid, West Coast took first place. I am sure if West Coast had the choice they would want the paid bid right? But are they whining and crying that they didn't get it no! They are probably at their gym now practicing for Vegas! That being said can't wait till Vegas!
so there you have it..... lacin123 ( is a mom of a kid on that team) my point exactly.... lets get bitter because my daughters team didnt win, and put down a team that won. Please! Thats all this back and forth is. It is unfortunate you guys have to take that moment away from West Coast and completly uncalled for.
Oh and I'll say it again! FIRST PLACE WEST COAST!!!!

Why the attack? I was defending West Coast against the posts that were made discounting their win. Im not bitter, Im possibly biased, and I have every right to an opinion and to vent on this board as anyone else. Its a little hypocritical of you to say not to read if you dont like. You obviously do not like my posts.
I like your posts lacin123. I think you were pretty accurate with your break down in the routines. I think you have every right to your opinions. I thought West Coast looked great yesterday. Super clean routine. The girls had so much energy, I just loved it. I also thought PCM looked great too. American was amazing. I'm sure they worked very hard for that paid bid. I am a little surprised how this is the only "win" questioned. I mean, if everyone can't stand USA and their judging techniques, why is this the "only" placement questioned? Were they "right on" with their other placements? I'm beginning to think it's not USA after all. I hate to say it, but I think it's just sore losers. How sad is that?
same thing happened last year with magic all stars and Cali. magic placed second and didn't get the paid bid an they thought they should of. Cali got it. maybe magic now PCM need to stay away from this competition they don't like the outcomes

Been in the business for many years and PCM should know that's how usa works. They have their pets, but if you got a bid and that is what you went there for, then just let it go. Congrats on the bid. I think you have a lot of extreme talent on that team. Good luck at Worlds! And congrats to WC and good luck to you at Worlds!

every team screams and gets excited if there name hasn't been called yet and they know they got 1st place even teams like stingrays and california all stars they were just excited there teenage girls I don't think they did it to hurt or be unsportsmanlike to PCM and I'm sure they would of done the same thing if they got first it's an instant reaction everyone has them all they knew at that point is they placed 1st and were excited as for who's who on here nobody knows most of you probably think I'm from west coast your allowed to create as many accounts as possible unlike fiereboards and that's why this is called anonymous Arlene it's easy as we all know to hide your identity some make it more obvious who they are on here and some don't see everyone in Vegas!! only a few more days I know both teams will be working hard these next couple of practices and it's a much bigger competition
ALSO congratulations to Victory Sm Sr on their BID nobody has mentioned anything about them so I'll be the first I hope they can turn heads as well and I know the west coast teams will dominate once again this year at worlds
as for screaming and yelling before your name is called, i see this as a little bit rude. i believe it is only right for the team that won first place to wait until their name is called, therefore giving the second place team their moment in the spotlight. i'm not saying west coast is the only team that does this though. we've all been there and done that. but i know now, that when my team wins, i wait to yell until our name is called. because when we don't win, i don't want to have to listen to the winning team taking my spotlight. lol.
but i'll say it again, i'm not attacking west coast, just making a point.
Half of this message board is people arguing about who should have one.. but none of us can decide that, unless you're a judge. so if you're throwing out all of these remarks, go get an application to be a judge.. talking on a message board is getting you no where. Victory got their bid, as well as PCM. West Coast took 1st, but the competition was so close it could have been in either of their hands! Im sure the coaches will go over scoresheets and find that it wasn't even a point's difference. nobody can go out there and perform it but the girls, so stop talking like you won or you should have won. every team got SOMETHING so stop with this immature nonsense, everyone is making fools of themselves on here.
I love that you never see Victory on the boards whining about their placements. Congrats to their Senior 5 for their bid to Worlds, their Senior 3 who got grand champs and a full-paid to all level championship, and their Mini 1 who also got grand champ and a full-paid to all level. I think they are one of the most under-appreciated small programs around. I'm not from Victory, but have seen them at many comps over the years just go out and do their thing, and I appreciate that they don't come on the boards and cause drama. Thank you getoverit. I think we should all just GET OVER IT!! Also to West Coast - Congrats!! Great to see a 2nd year level 5 team do so well this year. You've been a pleasure to watch grow. PCM - two great programs merging together this year. I hate to see anyone take anything away from the kids and coaches who work so hard. Every team pours their heart and soul into it. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. Like any sport that relies on judges, the results are subjective. I think all 3 teams went out there and did their best. Duke it out at Worlds!

First of all let me start by saying that I think everyone should state who they are or at least what gym we are from. I can proudly say my daughter is on the PCM small senior team. I haven't posted about any of this because it is all really just petty drama. However, reading through the lastest posts really upset me. I think it is unfair to say PCM are sore losers, because you don't know who is posting. it could be just about anyone trying to stir the pot.
We are so excited for the girls getting an at large bid and the girls are excited to go for the paid in Vegas.
I think for me the issue is USA. As 2cheer4life stated (an actual judge) how is it possible to have a 95, 91.72, and a 89 RAW score off the same score sheet by the same cheer company? This just proves that either the judges are not using the scoresheet correctly or there is way too much room for subjectivity. This is my only issue. Not who won or lost.
I sincerely congratulate West Coast on their 1st place:)) Also, congrats to American on the Paid Bid, Victory and Pace on the at large bid, and of course the girls from PCM Sm Senior on their at large bid. <333
On more thing..I would humbly ask when you are referring to a team don't call out a specific athlete. Saying someone dances like a robot is uncalled for and extremely rude. Also calling people immature and telling people they are making fools out of themselves is going to do nothing but stir up more drama. So let's make it constructive not destructive. Thanks...

Off the subject but......... Did Victory Mini win in their division? Who got 2nd? I absolutly love watching the Mini division it is by far the most competitive at most competitions. You stated they got grand champs, but I didnt realize USA gave a grand champ award.

Well That Explains It.. It Is An Extremely Entertaining Routine.. Oh and "cheeeer" The Only Reason I Say Wait Til Worlds Is Because We Wouldn't Want To Hear Anymore Excuses About A "Watered Down" Routine Because We All Know At Worlds Everyone Give's Their Everything.. So That's Why I Say Good Luck At Worlds :)

I'm not sure why you directed that at me. Oh well. I can't wait to see what these routines will look like at Worlds. I say, Good Luck to all the California teams that are going to Worlds. California's got to stick together. Wouldn't that be great?
My hissy fit was due to the fact that they were not getting the proper warm up, I will always put up a fight when I feel my kids safety is at risk. =)
haha. my coaches will do the same thing. i will always respect the coach that fights for their athletes. it's not like some over dramatic showing, it's just making sure the competition treats the athletes fairly. :)
