All I can say is we all have our teams that we love. I try to be objective. I would just ask everyone to go to varsity and watch objectively. The FACT is that at USA, bobbles, touchdowns, and incomplete twists (double downs out of stunts) don't count as deductions. I DO NOT consider a routine clean if they have bobbles, touchdowns, and incomplete twists. So go to varsity and watch these routines and let's see who had the cleanest routine.
WEST COAST wanted it- they want it bad. They are going for that paid bid, and I personally think they will get it. These kids are on fire. I would not underestimate them. 1st place baby! WAY TO GO WEST COAST.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was in Vegas I would put my money on you!

I am sorry but are you saying that the other teams in the division did not want it and want it bad. Give me a break, every team wants it bad and gives it their best when they are on the floor.
I think the BID awards were correct American had a great routine they deserved it however I did what lovemytay told us to do and look at the videos pacific coast magic should of stayed in 1st THOUGH they watered down their routine from the first day they had two standing fulls yesterday and today only one and they had a lot more layouts and non jump flips today than yesterday maybe that was a factor??????? congrats american and west coast
while wanting it can help motivate a team, it doesn't necessarily bring a win. i watched both of pcm and west coast's videos and i am kind of confused as to why west coast won over pcm. the video doesn't show the stunt section so i cannot judge from that. did pcm fall perhaps? but from what i saw, pcm has more tumbling than west coast, better jumps and a better pyramid. pcm had more doubles, more standing tumbling through to fulls, they did jumps to a tuck and their pyramid had more skills in it. the only reason why i could see pcm losing to west coast was if they dropped a stunt, or west coast's stunt section was beyond amazing, like a triple tick tock or something like that. anyone have a more detailed explanation of each routine? thanks.
Although I am a huge fan of West Coast, I personally think PCM should have won. I thought they were better today than yesterday. Not sure how a team who is in first, drops to second with a better second day. In the end, it doesn't matter what anyone's opinion is, results are results. Congratulations to PCM for their bid today.
The point spread between the 1st - 3rd team for the full paid bid (PCM, WC, and American) was so small the first day, less than .12, anything could have turned the results one way or another for the bid or in a division. If anyone was so very perfect and beyond amazing the point spread would have been much more significant the first and last day. No one was perfect today - no one. Whether it is a watered down routine, tumbling touchdowns, or an incomplete twist - no one was perfect - not any team in the SS5 or any other team in the level 5 divisions for that matter. We all know all the teams wanted it bad, they all work hard day in and day out, but to get on this board and minimize one team's accomplishments for the pure joy of causing drama (and that is what this is pure and simple) seems to sound more like sour grapes than anything. Everyone needs to calm down and move on. Just think there is another competition next weekend in Las Vegas.
I watched the videos and totally agree with everyone that PCM should have won in small sr. They were also in first yesterday and isnt it 40% - 60 %. I just don get it! I do like west coast, but I always want the best performance to win. great job PCM!!! Vegas for both teams next week.

This is a message board for people to express their opinions. No one is being sour grapes. No one has said anything disrespectful. Everyone is expressing their opinions with respect. I have to say that PCM was the closest to a perfect routine. (I have a video, just don't know how to post it) No hands down, no bobbles, no incomplete twists. You girls did a wonderful job! The judges just had a different opinion. Keep your heads up!
Congrats to West Coast for the 1st place and American for the paid bid.
Looked at the videos and I have to agree with those who thought PCM should have won over West Coast. PCM's routine was full of difficulty and clean. I am scratching my head about that placement. As far as the paid bid goes, it could have gone to either American or PCM. American is a very strong team and unfortunately for PCM a larger squad looks more impressive than a smaller one. But both put on a heck of a performance. Congratulations to American on their Paid Bid to Worlds.
