The NCAA encourages all Senior (graduating high school seniors and super seniors) to apply for the  2010 NCAA Scholarship.  This application is not limited to NCAA members only.  The NCAA scholarship application process is open to all Northern California All-Star cheerleaders.  Applications must be postmarked by February 1st, 2010.   You can download your application at www.norcalallstaralliance.org.   You do not want to miss out on this great opportunity!  We anticipate raising close to $10,000 this season.   If you have any questions email:  norcalalliance@aol.com 
These applications are not evaluated on skill alone.  We consider grades, dedication to your sport, community service and leadership skills.

Spirit Spectacular who helped us to raise over $3000 for the scholarship fund at their event on Saturday January 16th.    Special thank you to the following programs who dedicated time and products to the NCAA Scholarship Raffle;
UCF,  All Star Elite, Athletic Perfection, Nor Cal Elite and Rebels.  
In addition, Spirit Spectacular offered a Parent Division whereby the registration fees would be donated back to the NCAA Scholarship Fund.  Thank you to the following programs for not only supporting our Senior All Star Cheerleaders here in Northern California but for entertaining all of us.

Finally,  the Gyms who are members of the NCAA believe so strongly in our mission to provide scholarships to deserving members of the All Star community here in Northern California that they have committed either $100 or $200 per gym (based on the size of their program)   The joint efforts of the gyms, the event producers and the families who have supported the raffles at the Nor Cal Victory Cup and Spirit Spectacular are demonstrating in a very proactive and positive way our belief in creating opportunities for all to achieve a higher education.

We are also working to provide a College/University Booth at the NCA Nor Cal Classic  on March 13th, 2010.   The NCAA is asking college and university cheer programs,within our demographics, to be available to meet with cheerleaders who may be interested in cheering after they graduate from high school.  Our hope is to provide a booth where the athletes and the parents can find out more about what opportunities are out there.   Please stop by the NCAA College Booth at the NCA Nor Cal Classic.
