She was hurt during warm ups with another team after Legend performed. She's recovering and doing well. She'll be out for a while. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Not to put Nelson down in any way ( I know he is an amazing coach)..but how does a competition pick a coach of the year? They've only seen him that one weekend, correct?
Thats actually a good question... I was wondering that myself. Either way CONGRATS!

CheerPros contacts the gym and asks for a bio of the coach. You also need to have 3 letters of recommendation (like one from the owner, another coach, a kid, a gym parent, etc.) Then a committee goes through all the coaches and determines a winner.

CONGRATS Nelson! Well deserved
Congrats Nelson Too, and the coaches that made it to finals. Wow, with some of the coaches I saw on the list, very hard decision.
Karre dislocated her elbow and badly sprainged her ankle. She is out for 6 to 8 weeks - but was at practice last night watching and cheering on her team mates as they were going through rigorous changes. Unfortunately, Karre is an irreplaceable member of this team and we could not find a female replacement. So instead we added two boys and are changing divsions for Spirit Sports. Not sure if that decision will stick, but for now it is all that's possible and best for the team. The kids are excited about the change, but sad for their team mate. So welcome Bryan and Jacob to team LEGEND.

Thank you for the get well wishes. The changes are going smoothy, quickly, and easily. The kids are fired about the switch and the staff feels like we've made a good decision. So, were just pushing for a clean routine and a reinvented level 5. The more support the better - the kids would appreciate it. This has been a rough transition because it was like the momma of the team who got hurt. Thanks again for the support.

I'll show you how's its done no need to say more, the best in the game, taking all your spotlight and fame!!
I saw platinum earlier this season and they were really really good. Did they hit?
They had a bunch of bobbles and then a fall in the stunts. Not as strong a showing as when I saw them earlier. Also a bad bust on a running tuck, straight to the knees
I must have missed the post that started this...what happened?
FierceCoachMegan's post above this one gives a little more detail. She wasn't hurt during her performance with Legend. She was hurt afterward while warming up with another team.
Hope that helps.
