Even though we didn't get to bed until after midnight!...I really enjoyed this comp. SCV had an impressive showing. All of their teams looked really good. Stealth's teams looked great as well. I have to say that I find myself looking forward to watching all of the PCM and CheerForce San Diego teams. So much talent at those gyms!
Finally, I am sooo very proud of our Fierce teams. They've been working hard and it shows. Legend had some "technical difficulties" but they should be worked out by Palm Springs (fingers crossed). They also have to work through an injury on the team from last night. It's been tough but things will keep getting better, little by little. Those girls are strong and work their butts off. I'm hoping to see a huge return on all that work in Palm Springs. ;0)
Good luck to all in Palm Springs! I'm looking forward to it.
yeah it was the front handspring front that is illegal... it was legal last season but the rules changed. The penalty judges missed it but a coach in that division caught it after awards were done. So with that penalty it dropped them down and Spirit Athletics moved up to first. Cheerpros ended up giving Spirit their jackets but unfortunately the moment of getting first was lost...

Just confused on the rules because it dosent state that you cant do a front walkover into a front tuck on level 3 tumbling. Can you clarify for me? I used it on level 3 this year and we didnt get a deduction for it either. I just want to make sure, so that I dont use it in the future in a routine.
Not to put Nelson down in any way ( I know he is an amazing coach)..but how does a competition pick a coach of the year? They've only seen him that one weekend, correct?
