It was a long two days but was really well run and was full of great teams. Sooo glad fierce came out because they totally put on a show. IMO fierce is better than ever with some of the sickest elites in Cali hands down.
I'll post more later but am so proud of odyssey! At the end of comp power took large program and oddyssey took small! Yippeeee
ps loooved the plaques they handed out!

This was an awesome comp! Fame Athletics had some great routines, I loved their choreography, AND their flyers were so solid. Riptide, a great program, and I personally love the choreography from their Sr. Coed 4, stunts and pyramids were so creative, and they put on a great show. I noticed some of their kids cheering on Fierce All Stars (from Southern California) teams' too... very cool! Power... oh Power, they cleaned house, and took home cash awards too... such a great group of kids, and routines were perfect! Great job to you all. I have to also give Fierce All Stars Sm. Riptide Sr Coed 4 won the Judges Choice for stunts

Alpha Omega Coed 3, Majestic Coed 3 and Riptide Coed 4 all nominated for Sportsmanship Award...Majestic won the award! Great sportsmanship all around all weekend.

Great Competition! Love the venue! The event staff was wonderful, very accommodating! Judging was spot on! Love the new trophies! American Championships put on the best competitions by far.

Quick question.  If Power was "Solid as a rock" why did WCCheer say they dropped a stunt?  Did they drop or where they solid?  I missed the comp and I'm just curious.

Looks like it was a good comp! Congrats to all the teams. Fame looks great! Does anybody have videos of other teams? I'm sad I missed this one.

Edited to add: What is the superior award? It looks like it was given to teams that didn't place? Could somebody explain what it is and the criteria? Thanks :)

Day one dropped stunt, but day two they were on.  I think the gym as a whole was on this weekend. They had a great showing this competition. Fierce was good too. wink
The competition as a whole was great. ALL the teams were pretty good.

They dropped 1 stunt on Saturday, all stunts, and pyramid hit beautifully on Sunday. I was impressed with them =)

i must agree Fame looked good at this comp.  i have been watching them and their former teams for years and they had so much talent that looked wasted.  it's good to see that with a new coach the owners stepped back and let him run the show and make the teams performance ready.  great hire Fame - looking good this season.  keep up the great work.  when is your next comp?

Unfortunately I don't get to see many live all star performances anymore, since my daughter cheers for high school. But, what I liked about POWER is they proved that every single one of their teams was important to their coaches. All of their teams do well, from level 1- 5. That's what makes POWER so special. So often times we see gyms who put a lot of effort into their top level teams. I think teams should use POWER as a role model and pay attention to all their athletes. Good job POWER!

P.S. I think cheergyms does a great job with all of there levels, as well. There are many teams that do, don't get me wrong. It's just that these two stand out.
