I think this subject might have been brought up before, but i'm not sure. Anyway one of my friends from my all star cheerleading team has quit All Star Cheerleading to go do High School Cheerleading. When I asked her why she quit doing All Stars she said because she felt burntout. She's been doing it since she was 5 and she's 16 now. She wants to cheer in a less competitve and intense atmpshere, with less pressure. How can we stop great cheerleaders like my ex teammate from leaving all stars ? Also what about the really talented High school cheerleaders who were the best of best at high school cheerleading, then tried All Stars and couldn't handle the intense practices and pressure and they quit ? I'm not saying that all H.S cheerleaders are like this.. This has just happened to my team recently. What are your thoughts ?

i dont think there is anything anyone can do to make someone stay in all star as oppose to high school cheer. i can see why she would want to do high school cheer instead. its just a matter of how the athlete feels about the sport. i started iff with high school cheer but once i found out about all star, i immediately fell love haha.
I think allstar is great competition, and high school is great for school support and fun. If we could pay the high school price all star would be even much better.
