Can someone please answer my question

So we are new to this Level 5 and I saw that on American Grand there is a Worlds Level 5 and an Allstar Level 5....my question is how do they select the teams that are going to worlds and will this be two different levels for all cheer competitions such as LIVE or USA Regionals?
Thank You

I believe at Grand and some other bid comps, teams choose if they want to go for the bid or not. If they do want to try for a bid at that particular comp, they are put in the "Worlds Level 5" division. If not, they are in the regular "Allstar Level 5". I don't think those divisions compete against each other.
And no they don't do this separation at all comps. Actually I don't think many other comps around here do.

sorry I just wanted to know why did they changed the terms of who goes to worlds like last year I thought lv 5 (if they won) got a bid to worlds now you have to classify yourself as worlds lv 5?

USASF and event producers would just as soon have them all in the same division.  However, some gyms don't feel they are ready to compete at that level.  So any teams that are in the "all star level 5" division are there specifically at the request if the gym.

I'm not a fan of doing this.  There are too many divisions as it is.

so does this mean just because we dont compete against one team at a competition doesnt really mean we wont see them at a different competition? Thanks for clarifing this....and yes I agree there are alot of divisions and it does get real confusing....
