There are kids on both Open 5 and Coed 5. The "crossovers" are not truly on the coed 5 team, they all are there to fill the team at the time. There are currently people waiting to be put on Phoenix with the skill required to do so. Therefore; to answer the question, yes there are crossovers (currently 9 to be exact). Let me shed some light on this. Phoenix has 5 kids that cross from Midas. The 9 number that TrueBeliever is referring to I believe is the number of athletes on Phoenix that are not currently throwing doubles but are working very hard to reach that goal.
We have reduced the amount of crossovers to a minimum this year.
Hopefully this clears up the confusion and answers the question.

CFierce, the competition was a good one! I only stayed through the 1st set of awards, but from what I saw, it was a really good competition. RDC took 1st across the board in dance! The cheer sections that I saw were pretty good. I think all of the winning teams deserved it!

Great job Royal All-Stars!   I know this is a rebuilding year for you, and I think you guys rocked!! Can't wait to see what more your teams bring!!!   Oh, and I loved the new chant too!

I saw the performances this weekend  and I only have one thing to say about Alex in W's cross over comment: People that live in glass houses should not throw stones. Crossing International 5 to sr 2 and almost an enitre co-ed 3 team? Who are you kidding

Nobody had been talking about this for a while. It was dropped. Why did you find it necessary to create a new username and stir the pot. Let's all be civil! While I agree that I don't like crossovers, it is still legal, so until it's not gyms will still do it.

For your information, Mizz Know It All, I was not at the Victory Cup this weekend.  My club has no males....so we could not possibly have a coed team.  I don't know who you are making me out to be, but go point your finger in another direction...
