That penalty we we're trying to fight and fight and fight... If you go watch the Top Gun Battle Under the Big Top video, at about 13 seconds... A girl tumbles into two guys on the left side of the screen, then is pendulum style tossed back out... We did the same thing and got deducted for it. Called Bucky and Kevin, who YES Mallory, Kevin is the last pass... And they did not receive a deduction for that. NCA needs to know their rulebook and definitely have a qualified penalty/safety judge. She couldn't prove why or where it states where it was illegal. Annoying!!!!

Seriously, it's too early in the season to start justfying and looking for reason why you guys placed the way you did.  Just go back in the gym and fix it.  Every season we have to go through this with fierce on this board. I am soo over it..PUFF BE DONE!

NCA has a bad reputation with things being illegal that aren't or saying it is legal at one comp and the same thing is illegal at the next. I have heard complaints from others with this same issue. Maybe that is why some of the gyms that usually go to that comp chose not to go this year.

It would not have changed the placement for Fierce however. PCM has the same element and from what I hear they got the same deduction for it. I will say I love Fierce. They have a great routine. Can't wait to see both PCM and Fierce clean things up. When they do watch out!

I completely agree about the penalty judging. Seems there were a lot of strange interpretation of the rules! Fierce, loved, loved, loved your bows. Also, loved your special needs team. I love the way, for a brief moment, everyone stops to come together to support these very special kids. Puts things in perspective, don't you think?
