Took me a while, but I did get some answers on this issue.
I contacted Steve Peterson about the change in the numbers of bids for this year. USASF revised the number of at large bids compared to paid/partial bids that event producers can award for 2010.
The result is that there are 108 FEWER at large bids available for Worlds 2010.
Just wanted everyone to know that people do listen and changes can happen.
I think 108 Fewer is fantastic! I know every Level 5 team has aspirations to go to Worlds but I really feel this will narrow it down to those who are most ready to compete on that level. Let's hope they're handed out fairly and justly. May the best teams earn em!
