fame athletics senior coed level 3 took first and grand champions.
cheergyms all american was a mess.
Cheer Oddessey's level 5 looked good and will be good once they clean things up a little.

Overall, there was alot of drops for everyone throughout the day.

i know that large senior 3 1st place is:UCF
large senior 2 1st place is:Fusion
small senior 3 1st place is:EDGE

its not alot but its a start!

Amerian - You were awesome!!!

Results:
Pink - tiny 1 - 2nd
Red - mini 1 - 1st
White - youth 2 - 1st
Blue - junior 4 - 1st Grand Champions!!!
Silver - senior 2 - 1st Grand Champions!!!
Flyers - senior coed 5 - 1st

Had a great time watching all the kids and having fun with
family and friends. It is going to be a great season!!!!!

Congrats fame! Any videos? They were strong last year, glad to see them back!

I can't wait to see odyssey! They have been building their level 5 for the past few years and I'm so excited all their hard work is paying off. Would love to see a video of them!

I expect drops, after all, this is most programs 1st comp of the season! Yay, let the season begin!

Senior Open 5

1st - All-American
2nd - Cheer Odyssey
3rd and 4th - AP or Airborne
5th - Fusion

**All-American also won level 5 grand champs

I'm not defending the "hot mess" statement but they were a little on the wobbley side!  A "hot mess" is a little harsh!  Honestly I had Odyssey in first and all american second with AP in third!  Surprised Odyssey got 2nd but at the same time they didn't have as much tumbling (fulls) as all american had.  AP was good but need a bit more difficulty (double downs) and fulls to keep up in level 5.  Overall tho all five teams in this division did good.  It's still early in the season...i'm sure all five teams will be successful this season!  Way to kick butt ladies! :)

The teams we saw today were on the wobbly side with errors, but its been that way for everyones first competition.  Its fun to see gyms improve along the way.   A fun competition overall.   One observation with the awards, it seemed strange to me to have teams leave the stage as soon as they got their trophies instead of staying on stage to hear the rest of the placements.   Other than that it was well run with plenty of competition for everyone.   Congratulations to the winners and to those who came close against some tough competition.

How did all of the lev 4 and 5 teams do?  open, international etc...
It sounds like it was a packed house and a really fun day. Too bad Power didn't perform.

FUSION was amazing all around. All of their teams did great. I think them and American were my ABSOLUTE favorite gyms yesterday.

Cheer Odyssey did amazing too. Also one of my favorite performances of the day.

Can't wait for POWER to perform as well.

The competition ran well and was extremely organized. BUT THEN THAT IS JOHN. He's an amazing person. I personally loved how they did awards. It kept things moving and at least the teams were able to come on stage without it taking so long with dancing and games etc. Very very professional.

Airborne I love your new uniforms. Clean and it reminds me of the old Airborne days. Your open 5 did amazing as well. I think Ive seen the guy who is on your team and he is a talented cheerleader. Love to watch him perform.

I have never seen Fame, but they have some serious talent. Like them :)

All Star Elite - love that program. There is just something about them that makes you love cheerleading. I love the support they gave to alpha and omega.

Alpha and Omega - talented group they need some cleaning up, but very talented.

Cheergyms - love their senior 3 team. I thought they won. But then i'm not a judge lol. Don't remember much about Motions this time. So I can't comment.

All American did good too. They had a very good strong 1st performance. Very good!

Good Job to all Teams!! 

What caught my eye:

American-Just as I expected...Great!!

Fame Athletics.....I don't know much about Fame Athletics but wow their teams looked great.  Where are they from?  Tons of talent and great routines...Coed  3 was amazing!

Ariels-Level 4 so fun to watch and clean-great job ladies!!

Fusion-loved your uniforms!

CO- I definitely had your Open 5 in 1st!!  And you guys work that dance!

All Star Elite-Capri's-cute!!

The venue was ok, I found it very hard to find a seat for just a few parents to sit together.  John, maybe you are out growing this venue?????


Awards went well and not drawn out, very refreshing.
