POWER attempted to go outside the box and I give them props for that! When they do it those Tick Tocks and ball-ups they will be amazing! As for Cheerforce, those express-ups were flawless! Loved it everytime.

Great job POWER, and great job Cheerforce!

I thought the venue was good, but the music was hard to hear for a lot of the teams and the announcer was impossible to hear.  The background music should have been turned off for announcments.  $11 to get in and only 2 year olds under free, really.  I had to pay $11 for my 4 year old....  I like it when they have the area in front for viewing your team when they go on...  Just my opinion.

IMO I agree with you!  First of all I remember when GSSA events were free, and a couple of years ago when we did have to pay it was around $5.00!  Stadium seating would have been better (way better), and I too couldn't understand the announcer at all.  The music was horrible as I couldn't hear it most of the time.  Also what was up with the way the awards and super six were announced?!?  Way too much confusion!  Super six placements should have been announced seperately and not mixed in with the level 5 awards!!!  Overall the competition itself was good as there were a lot of good teams (cheerforce rocked it!).  But it didn't feel like a typical GSSA competition as it seemed a little unorganized this time.  Again just my opinion.

I must give great props to the Power's Senior Open 5 (which is really their JUNIOR 5 team). They stood up great against the other teams and unfortunately had a boo-boo that I am sure cost them the first place spot (a double full was thrown - major deduction...) However, they took second and should be proud of it smile.gif

Are double fulls not allowed in the senior open division?  What exactly is the difference between senior open and senior?

Doubles are not allowed in open 5. Only fulls.
