Add in admission for the family, hotel cost, food, and gas to get there . . . this is an expensive competition. But in defense of Athletic Championships they are not the only company charging an arm and a leg to compete . . .
This year admission is free. This comp gives practice rooms to teams, coaches party, athlete gifts, coach gift, and meal vouchers/water/soda to coaches throughout both days. Pretty good warm up too.
