This Monday morning I had to drag Emmy out of bed, she said she's sore from practicing after that one month break she had from the end of her other cheer season, she said practice was tough but fun and she said all her new teammates were really nice and Angie makes her feel like she can tuck soon. Emmy's really happy she came to Pyramids and I'd like to thank her great coaches and her very friendly teammates on the Jr. Prep team.
Welcome to Pyramids and the JP team. This is my daughters 5th season with Pyramids (4 years with Angie!) and you will be so happy your family is a part of this program. The JP team will be hosting a family bbq in the next few weeks so we can meet each other and welcome the new families to our team. More information will be coming soon!
Hi Jessica and Emily, I can tell you that the practices will not get any easier but it is well worth it in the end! Vanessa had a big adjustment last year coming from the same program as Emily but after a few weeks it got better. There is a reason why Pyramids wins competitions and has a reputation for excellence and it is because our girls work very hard for everything they get! Tell Emily to work hard for Angie and she will have a great season as she is on an awesome squad! Laurie DeSimone
LOL! I was waiting for a message like this. But I didn't expect it to be one from the younger teams. I didn't know they ever got sore. I am so happy to have several additions to the Jr. Prep team this year. All the kids are great, and I know that they will have a wonderful season. KC~ Go figure just had a baby like 4 days ago and already planning the bbq :). Thank you everybody for the nice words and I can't wait for practice on Thursday. get ready ladies!!!
Angie
P.S. Don't forger your stars. KC, Mikaila forgot hersat the gyms so tell her not to stress, I have it.
Happy to say Emmy was back to herself by Wednesday morning, and I think she learned she can't spend all Saturday swimming and staying up late if she's going to make it through Sunday practices! Yes, Laurie, its been an adjustment, although I'd have to say the funnest one so far has been going shopping to buy clothes in the team colors! My husband was teasing me the other day about one of the "hidden costs" in cheerleading was how Emmy and I have been buying a lot of red and black clothes lately! Wow KC, after I had my son almost three years ago I didn't want leave the house, let alone plan a BBQ! Sounds like we have a really motivated team here! Congrats on the baby and looking forward to meeting everyone!
The stars were really a great idea, Emmy had a fun time decorating it.
