Like this board but I also check out national boards

I'll get jumped on for this but, having followed all-star cheer in the state of California for 20 years, I'd like to see members of this, mostly West-Coast, board also follow broader cheer message boards. "Fierce Board" comes to mind but there are others. In addition to posting here, consider looking at how the bigger cheer world views West Coast teams. It is interesting to post about local teams, but it is also informative to see how the cheer "world" views teams.

Oh my--I don't mean that I have followed all-star cheer for twenty years. Age brings questionable memories! I've followed Southern California all-star cheer for about 15 years. Sorry!

There is also a board for Las Vegas area that is NOT controlled by any gym owners or coaches that parents can give their honest thoughts on anonymously.  Just remember to follow the rules about NO BASHING, NO NAMES.

No bashing???  No Names???

So, I look at this board and there are several messages that might qualify as libel.  Whose names aren't allowed to be used?  Who doesn't get bashed?

I'm all for parents giving their opinions.  But if what these people are saying is TRUE, then they should be contacting an attorney and not posting.  If what they are saying is FALSE, then they might be getting a summons shortly.

I'm thinking beyond California, Nevada and Arizona and hoping that all-star cheer fans in our part of the country will see that, despite our weather, etc., there is a whole other all-star cheer "world' out there that can help us put our views about things like "what is a big gym" and which gyms are really playing right now on the national all-star stage in perspective. It seems to me that if any California team makes a mark nationally, it can only benefit other teams from the western U.S. (excluding Texas, of course). Just saying....

Yeah, there is still radioactive fallout from PAC's demise here in Vegas...that "Voy" board was properly washed. Quite a mess here in Sin City.

Fierce Board is pretty nice and well ran...we need more western cheer presence on it though.

I need to get myself a new sig for this board...
