I just want to start out by saying that we have not been in the cheer world for very long but what I can say this past season I have seen some of the rudiest kids and parents from PAC. Now I am not saying that all parents and kids are rude from PAC but when we walk by them at competitions in our team shirt and try and smile at them the give us dirty looks from the parents so when the kids did it too I wasn't surprise. I was not at Elements last season but I can tell you that from the outside looking in Elements did seem like that family PAC was talking about but never have I seen PAC act like a family they always seem like big bullies. Again this is me on the outside looking in. I would never allow my child to go to PAC only because I don't like how Josh speaks to the kids I would never talk to my child that way and I will be damn to allow a coach to talk to her that way. He too seems like a bigger bully!! He is alll about that trophey!!! I think that you guys were extremely harsh on Elements, I have recently signed my daughter up there and she is loving everything that Elements has to offer her. Never have I ever heard any of the coaches or the owner speak ill of PAC...or the kids and I know that it was a hard day when the other two coaches left but they moved on and they are concentrating on the upcoming season rather than sitting around bashing on PAC. That is one of my main reasons for coming to Elements because they seem to me to worry about what is going on in their gym rather than bashing the gyms in Las Vegas. I know that every gym will have their drama.. I do feel that everyone has their choice in a gym and if you guys do follow Kristy I wish yo all the best of luck!! The level 5 team all girl team was a great team and your choice of staying together I can't say I blame you I would follow your coach as well!!! Good luck this season!!!
Josh does not coach the kids he coaches the Coed International team. They are all over 18 not 5. The team members came to him and asked him to do what no other coach in town was willing to attempt, coach a group of adults with different cheer backgrounds and very strong opinions on how it should be done. He accepted this challenge and would not allow himself or any of his team fail, it was not an option since most of this team put thier lives on hold for one year to make this only one attempt. This was not a easy task and they deserved a good swift kick in the butt, that is why HE was asked to coach this team by the members of this team. In the end the ones who endured lived their dream and went to WORLDS. That was the goal and what HIS team was all about. He should not be criticized for doing what he was hired to do. College level teams are his specialty. One of the members of that team was just accepted at Louiseville, bravo, what an amazing achievement.
You would not have a quiet coach of a mini team coach a level 5 team of adults anymore than you would let a level 5 coach take charge of a mini team of girls that would burst into tears with their teaching styles. That is why they gym owners have the right to manage and coaches have the right to coach.
Josh might not be the right fit for YOUR child, but he was the right fit for the Coed International 5 team and he did a fantastic job.
I have my own opinions of Josh both good and bad, but he deserve a round of applause for what he did last season. I know that when it is time for my Daughter to get that College cheer scholarship, Josh will be the first one I call for help.
I think what the previous post about Josh was referrring to was when he coached A & J and yelled and cussed at those kids terribly. Many of those kids were young and not 18 at all.
Most importantly, I think ALL the girls are looking forward to and need a fresh start and moving on. I'm sure everyone is exhausted with the sour apples from the last year. Lets focus on what we are really here for. The girls / boys are all good kids for the most part and even though we have to dig a little deeper to find the good in some more than others, the bottom line is they are ALL good kids who just want to succeed in cheer.
Las Vegas eNVy - Good luck to you and all involved, I know you will have an amazing year with many more to follow.

So update on las vegas eNVy well they have just changed the name of the las vegas elements the oldest team in las vegas whos original name was las vegas elite who was the first allstar team in vegas. and the pride coach is coming together with the elements coaches and changing the name. so my question is to the people on here when the pride athletes come over to elements as well as the pride coaches to the elements which is going to be there new home shouldnt they feel like they can train with the rest of the team ,like the rest of the team, and coach the way they know how to coach or should we the elements parents and girls come on here and tell everyone that you came in our gym and took over. I think a lesson was learned here and KARMA is a B$#@$%. We welcome you to our family , we are excited for what this will bring for all of our girls. I think it is awesome for our coaches . When you go to a new gym you want to be treated as equals and family . People say and do things based on what they hear or actions they have heard about . if we only react to what we truly know our lives will be a lot less drama filled . I hope as we all venture into this new family and partnership we do not act on things we heard but on the things we see . Good Luck coaches and girls.
Puma Power do you even know half the people on the international co-ed level 5 team? Cuz I do and they are not all over 18 and cheer fan is absolutely right he shouldnt be talking to these kids that way. He was owner the team didnt ask him to coach anything his wouldnt allow anything less . And you keep saying he will be the first person you take your child to yet the bottom of your posts says las vegas eNVy rocks. So which is it coach cristy or pride and josh make a choice and make it fast. Thank you

My Daughter is not Inter. Coed. As I stated different coaches are good for your Daughter at different times in your cheer life. At this time the coaches that are best for my Daughter are at eNVy.
Any coach that takes 20 teenagers and older and attempts to coach them deserves respect not insults. If you don't like the coach or their coaching style leave.
What happened at Pride was because the coaches and New Owners were unfortunately not on the same page. Hopefully they will be at eNVy. All of Las Vegas wants a powerhouse gym. This situation has just proven it is going to be a lot of work on everyones part.

I think the meeting was a great suucess! Our Element family is a strong one and I think the Pride family showed up strong and united as well. Bringing the two together with a positive attitude is going to be a key ingredient, but from what I saw at the meeting, it looked like we have the cream of the crop coaches, and the cream of the crop kids and I don't see anything but positive things down the road! We warmly welcome all of you into our family and as far as the question raised regarding who is kind of running things? I think Nikci and Christi made that clear, that it was them jointly doing this. I heard them say that Christi was coaching level 5 sr and jr so it sounds like they are already doing what is best for the gym by sticking to what they all do best! Christi got your teams to worlds, so she obviously knows how to run a level 5 team the best. About the question of tumbling coach competence , are you kidding me? Have you not heard of Tracey? You are all lucky to be able to work with her, just ask anyone who has ever had the opportunity! I am sure it will all be overwhelming at first to her and everyone else, but after the chaos dies down and the true training starts, whoa!!!! As far as what else will be offered? You know your other coaches specialties, but Nikci is level 4 brilliance, and Katie cannot be topped in the youth programs! We hear Tenay and Kimsy rock at anything levels 2 and 3, so where do we not have anything covered? I for one and everyone I have talked to, said we thought the coaches all handled the meeting well and effectivley answered all of our questions. I left the meeting feeling extremely positive about the coming year! To anyone still on the fence, all you need to do is come and give eNVy a try, you will love it here! Good Luck to everyone! eNVY is going to be amazing!!!!!
Wow, what can I say - The coaches that have come together for this new gym should be thought of nothing less that the "Dream Team" of coaches for Las Vegas.
It almost gave me chills seeing them all together working toward a common goal. What more could we ask for for our kids?
We just need to stay strong and know that there may be a few bumps in the road, but our strength will reap massive rewards.
Thank you ladies for doing what is best for the kids and getting Las Vegas cheer back on track!

i think this year is going to be amazing at eNVy! the coaches are amazing and i hope everything come together so that we are the best team that las vegas has ever had!

Each program has its strengths and weaknesses, much like each coach. What upsets me about your post is that you state one individual took our teams to worlds. I feel that is false. It takes a program to make it to worlds, from the parents who pay and give their time, to the other teams who give level 5 its prestige, to the 20 individuals on that team, to all the coaches that worked with them, to the owners who made sure they were able to compete. Don't try to take that away from everyone who made it a success. The only thing that will come from this "split" will be two rebuilding programs. The scales don't tip in anyone's favor. Once the honeymoon is over the only ones who wil benefit from this are the other programs in Las Vegas because of the fact they will be working hard to compete against the rest of the nation where we will be stuck trying to best each other. I wish the new program the best and good luck with everything. The unknown is a scary idea to place all your eggs.
Your well wishes are appreciated and welcomed. However, I think you should understand that my choice for being on board with eNVy is that eNVy is based on the premise of stability. The owner of Elements has been around for a long time and has made choices in business that is honest and always thinks of what is best for the kids first. After all, its the kids that make the program.
The amount of talent that Las Vegas now has is immense and now those girls need a reliable place to go to utilize it. Having a non-cheer company that has its own financial woes come in and take over a business that is experiencing financial deficits is not stability. Let alone putting a cheer parent in charge who then dismisses the backbone of the most successful team is again NOT stability.
eNVy is stable coaches coming together at a stable gym with stable families who want what is best for the kids. I think everyone is on the same page that we just want an honest place to take our kids so they can continue to grow and thrive in cheer.
Rumor has it that the other gym is planning another move now to the Blue Diamond area. If this is true, how much more do the kids have to endure with respect to the management?
In the end, eNVy will be a winning environment needed to produce championship teamS. Yes, teams with an S! Meaning ALL teams. All teams meaning ALL kids! Today's Mini's are tomorrows L5 champions and Elements always recognized this.
Many of you know I may be young but that I have learned a lot in my time and one thing I have learned is divided talent is not full talent. Another thing I've learned to do not only in cheer but in life is to look at the facts and stats and then make my decisions. The numbers still read like this:
P.A.C. has a dedicated staff of 11 cheer coaches and 3 tumbling coaches all happy and ready to not only improve their athlete's skills but also to help them grow as people.
P.A.C. has the largest cheerleading facility in the state of Nevada still boasting two full size spring floors, a tumble strip, a tumble trak, a 6 panel hard floor( to prepare for school cheer and college) and wall to wall mirrors.
P.A.C. has a full time office staff ready to answer your questions and to give out information.
P.A.C. has a one, three, five, year plan and is here for the long haul as our saying says Ain't no stopping us now!
P.A.C. has the backing to ensure we are around for years to come.
P.A.C. feels that it is a program effort to be successful and that when each team does well it isn't just those members or those coaches that make it possible but the program as a whole from the mini's to the level 5 to the owners. Without one piece there would be no sweet success.
P.A.C. is a family and will always be a family. I will still know everyones name and most of their parents names and will remember the ones who came before them.
P.A.C. is and will become fun
P.A.C. is my home.
I know the feelings are divided and lost but take a step back and look at the facts and the ideals of the program. I hope to see you at the P.A.C. Informational Meeting and BBQ where will have a meet the staff, open forum questions, and a general overview of the program this year and the direction of the program for the future.
Saturday 2:00 pm Pride and Passion Athletics Training Center 1075 American Pacific suite D Henderson NV 89074.
Even if you think you may be interested come out and hear what we and our staff and directors have to say.
From everything we hear, nothing that has come out of the mouths of "those in charge" at Neusport has been the truth , a shred of honor or honesty, financial stability or anything good and moral. No thanks, I don't think anyone cares to hear what they "have to say" anymore. They blew it! The kids are already blending and are excited to start a new family together at a stable gym! Good Luck to you though!
Ok so elements (or most of them went to blend with PAC) and now you will be eNVy? I thought I read everything but was just a bit confused. Trying to follow. Or will there be 3 gyms?
