After thoughtful consideration and deliberation, the International All Levels Championship to be held in San Antonio May 2-3, 2009 has been canceled. The recent Swine Flu outbreak has made the health of our athletes our top priority. Due to timing and seasonal constraints, the Championship will not be rescheduled.
This decision is based on many factors, including:
- All public athletic and academic activities have been canceled until May 11 by the University Interscholastic League (UIL), which is the governing body for high school sports in the state of TexasTexas Governor Rick Perry has announced a disaster declaration for the entire state
- Many schools and school districts have been closed due to concerns over the virus and/or to be sanitized as a result of confirmed virus cases
- A majority of the gyms scheduled to attend the Championship have expressed their concern for the health of their athletes, and prefer not to travel at this time
The safety of all Championship attendees is at the forefront of our concerns. By canceling the event, we are taking the recommended precautionary measures to prevent the further spreading of or exposure to this virus.
All Championship entry fees, along with housing fees incurred through AllLevelsHotels.com, will be refunded. The All-Levels registration team and the AllLevelsHotels.com staff will be contacting you regarding your refund.
