The other day at the awards ceremony I wanted to say a few things but I truly feel that day is about the kids and the parents. That is why I choose to be strictly a parent on that day. It's all about "Stefani" for me. I have been with Motions from day 1 and with Nelson for 6 years. I have watched this program develop into something I am proud to be a part of. I have watched Nelson develop into an awesome coach. Believe me if he wasn't we would not have stayed around. When we decided to stay with Nelson I told him that cheer cannot be only for fun it has to lead somewhere; it has to put my girls into college. At that time Stefani was in 7th grade and Kassie was in 9th. Well he did just that. Kassie is the top girl on the Co-ed team at Sac State and I know for a fact Stefani will be the best where ever she decides to go. Nelson far exceeded my expectations. Not only is he a great coach but he takes care of all the kids. I never felt insecure if he was with my girls. I want you parents to remember that when it comes time for tryouts. Don't think about the time when your kids were complaining that they don't get to do or wear the things kids on other teams would get to. Because whatever it is Nelson and all the other coaches are having and or telling your kids to do they are doing it with your childs best interest in heart. Michelle is one of the BEST coaches I have ever had the opportunity to work with. She is a loving, caring, and a great technical coach. I LOVE Michelle and will truly miss her! Nikki has truly taught me something in the last 3 years. She has taught me how to laugh when you only want to cry. She has coached teams I didn't think were coachable. Her kids always start at the bottom and climb straight up to the TOP! I want to say thank you to all of the kids. Thank you for letting me work with you and to hopefully make some small impact on your life. The dedication and determination you all have...you all deserve an award! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I LOVE it when I walk in the gym and everyone is happy to see me. Or when I am the reward if the Jr. team sticks all their stunts. THANK YOU! I also want to say thank you to all the parents. You truly are wonderful. It is obvious when looking at you kids and how great they are. Thank you for the respect, and trust you have given to me and letting me coach your children. It won't be long before you are all like me; your last child going off to college. You will blink your eyes and it will be you childs Senior year ceremony. DON"T MISS ANYTHING! Hug them and tell them you love them EVERYDAY. Kids thank your parents everyday for being a taxi cab driver and a built in ATM machine. BYE I LOVE YOU GUYS! Love, Bridget

You brought me to tears, no words can express what you have brought to Motions...... you have been a key element in Zakia's tumbling..... What would we have done without you!!!!
All I can say is that Zakia has been truly blessed!! with coaches like you, Michelle, Nikki and Nelson...
I won't get drippy.... but remember when Zakia stood up her full on the tumble track and brought tears to your eyes??...
Last night she and Nelson were working on standing fulls onto a mat and can't wait to show you..
It was so awesome to read your message. We are a family that has been at Focus for 2 years now from the start and we too believe cheer should be fun BUT also something rewarding when they are older. I have 3 children in it now and it has been INCREDIBLE! I know cheergyms.com will fill all our expectations and your message proves that. I don't know you but I wish you the best and THANKS for your encouraging message. We also think we have the BEST coaches for our kids and I know cheergyms makes it a priority to hire the BEST. It must be Sooo Hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful program. I can't wait till the day I can post a message like yours on the Focus message board==but I know like you said it will all pass like a blink of an eye that is why we try to ENJOY every moment we can with our kids and being a part of what they LOVE to do. Thank you for saying what most of us are thinking but don't take the time to voice. My daughter has also been with Motions from day one and we wouldn't trade it for any other program or coaching staff. Alicia said she was very fortunate to start her cheerleading career with Motions and that she didn't have to go from program to program trying to find the best. She found it from day one and has grown in so many ways. We look forward to the next four years and hope that cheerleading will help with college also.
I want to take a moment to thank you for all you have done for Alicia and for me. I will always remember four years ago when you took extra time to help build her confidence in tumbling. She was scared! But you took the time and stepped her through it so she knew she had the ability to do it on her own. And now, here she is, doing layouts and ready to learn her full. And for me, thank you for all your advice and being a friend.
To Nelson, Nikki, Michelle, AMac, Morton, and Danny...thank you for believing in Alicia and ALL of your kids in the Cheergyms program. You set a standard that is hard to match by any other program out there.

You and your daughters (Kassie and Stefanie) have been such an inspiration to Desiree. I tried to tell you a little at the awards ceremony, but with all the emotion of the day may not have worded it quite how I intended, but you truly have made a lasting impression on Desiree and through your incredible patience and care you have not only made Desiree a better tumbler, but you, along with the other amazing coaches at Motions, have helped develop Desiree's self confidence, work ethic, and drive for success, that will stay with her long after cheerleading ends.
Bridget, I just want to add something that I know other people agree with but haven't really touched on. Not only are you a phenomenol coach, you are an amazing person. You helped me more than I can ever say, you gave me a place to live when I didn't really have any where to go, you and the rest of your family have become a part of my family and I can't express my gratitude enough. But besides what you've done for me you take the time to help these kids out, not only as a coach but as a parent. I know that my sister could never have made it through the nationals trips last year without you and I'm sure that there are other kids in the same place. Even though I'm no longer a part of cheergyms I just wanted to add my name to the list of people that truly appreciate everything that you have done for us! Thank you!
I too will add my name to the list of those thanking you for all you have done for the jr coed team. In particular you helped Josie last summer when she hit a low point. When I mentioned it to you, You said you would do what you can to help her and you did...what she learned during that summer too at AB helped her a lot and gave her confidence in her ability.Not to mention the fun she had rooming with you and Mia..she loved it, thank you again for all you have done. She has always looked foward to when you come to the gym...you freely encourage everyone to do their best..and push them when necessary if they don't...Thank you! Hope to see you soon... Vicky
