well, it happens to the best of teams. it's hard for a judge to be impartial, and I know our team has had our fair share of "i cannot believe they scored that way!!!"

cheerleading is politics, we're just gonna have to learn to grin and bear it unfortunately.

i agree with you on this one.. seeing all the controversy going on with this division i took a look at the videos myself..

knight time cheer force did deserve to win that division, really clean and a lot of skill

but backdraft did not deserve 2nd IMO, dropping a stunt in a "big" comp like this shouldnt place you in the top especially when their were other teams that were just as good that didnt drop any stunts

california bullets i thought would be in the 2nd place spot or fame athletics or all star elite (red pants) those teams didnt drop stunts and had nice routines that could have well beat backdraft

as for starstruck tying with 3rd, i cant believe it. they had a stunt drop as well and were not clean in the stunt area at all.

i even thought large senior 3 could have gone a different way. definitly thought cheerforce should have taken that one.

Agree, the videos dont lie. But didnt someone say they used USA scoresheets? If so maybe that explains it. Fame had a tumbling mistake, but their stunts looked good. Nor cal had a good performance, I dont see any mistakes, and the fall by west coast might be forgiven if they had an amazing routine, but they did not. Anyone have a video of all star elite? Congrats to Knight, they clearly deserved it. At least IALC got that one right.

i looked for a video of all star show stoppers could not findd one. if i do i will post it ASAP:) i honestly think the top three should of been CA,FAME and knight,
knight DID desrve to win hands down awesome job guys! but between first ans second fame and or ca both could gotten it, but if they did use USA scoresheets that exsplans EVERYTHING!

The problem is with your definition of "clean". Hitting a clean routine is NOT just barely hitting your stunts and tumbling. Just because your stay up in your stunts and get over on tucks doesn't mean you deserve high scores. Choreography, jumps, dance, motions, transitions and overall diffficulty. I think the judging was on for the most part. Every division I watched, the outcome was pretty much right on.

okay so even if that was the way they were scored, backdraft had two people a boy and a girl eat in in there standing handsprings in the intro, and a whole stunt fell and the others were very wobbly,plus jumps were gross this is not just for this divison neither ALL divisons were judged poorly riptides teams got ripped,nce teams got ripped,cheerforce got ripped, SOO back to my poing the judging was very POOR!

Nor Cal- They were great in stunts..a little bit off in the pyramid. But tumbling..a roundoff tuck is not a maxed out pass,but good otherwise.

West Coast- They got second? the last pass was a round off backhandspring (hop skipide jump step out) roundoff handspring tuck. A stunt fell and they didnt have majorty standing handspring. they only did one handspring when two maxes out in standing. Great pyramid though.

Fame- Good Tumbling.Good Flexibility.Half squad roundoff tucks..but they were average. Should of scored higher..

i havent seen CA, but they must of been good.
But this is a hard division, so teams shouldnt be upset if they didnt score what they got.

I'm sorry but Nor Cal, cheerforce and Riptide did not get "ripped". Your routines are simply not as good as the other teams - I was there and i watched. Clean up your sloppiness, stop having 8 years olds on your youth 3 try to be provocative by doing shimmy shoulders and sticking their tongues out at the audience when they finish their passes (so inappropriate!), and get some real choreography!

No I dont agree about fame getting ripped off. To me they aren't that entertaining and They can use some more tucks passes than double hand spring passes.As ytou can tell every other teams people who through passes had tucks and combo passes to tucks not handsprings. I do believe Knight got ripped full squad punch fronts and tucks amazinggg

Nope, i dont think any of these 4 teams got "ripped" as you guys would say. I guess i can kind of see what you mean by cheerforce if senior 3 is what you are talking about. If i remember correctly i believe ca had a couple of touch downs and cheerforce hit other than that ugly ugly basket but it hit. But i definitely think CA's choreoraphy pushed them ahead in that one. I even heard some girls with senior 3 shirts on in the bathroom talking about how they were scared they were going to get beat by cheerforce. Both teams did great, cheerforce had better tumbling, i thoughy both team had god stunts, both teams were clean, but ca's transitions KILLED. They were so entertaining. Except for that last flyer on the right for ca. I kind of missed the whole stunt sequince looking at her bad flexibility hmm Senior 3 all around was a great competition. Every team was great. I knew that one would be close. Great job on your win CA it was well deserved you guys rocked!

I waso wanted to congratulate CA Crush for their win. Let the haters hate! I was so shocked to hear some of the comments made about your program by "a other teams" cheerleaders and COACHES. Thats just so rude. You guys did great and you deserved your win smile

i dont think they meant fame got ripped off from first place but 2nd or 3rd as opposed to backdraft.. and fame only had 4 double backhandspring passes and they went together as a group

knight time was amazing, and we all know they deserved first.

i think cheerforce did get ripped off from large senior 3 like i said in my earlier post.

So 4 double handsprings bad - to trumblers falling on their butt and dropping the middle stunt is good sorry guess I was confused about what the judges were looking for

How did they get ripped? They got first and everyone agrees they deserved it. Were you there? Or are you just chiming in about things you don't know? Does anybody know what part of Texas Knight is from? They were great!

I guess at the end of the day we all know it's just cheer. Yes, it sucks that scoring was off and teams were awarded champions in divisions with only 4 teams (when there could have been more if they didn't break up small gym- large gym for only certain divisions) and that it took forever and a day to get score sheets, but now we all know what to expect for next year and with said I assume many gyms won't be back.

other than being a little sloppy, adding in two girls two days
before the competition & one girl not throwing two of her passes.
i was definitaly proud of our team of 21 going againest teams of 35 :)

FYI I was very surprise to hear the comments from the CA Crush Coaches/owners walking right up to other teams and making the comments that they did to these people.
If Cal Crush is so great why does the owners brothers cheer for CA Bullets? That should tell you something when your own brothers won't cheer for you or your program.

i think you bagged on backdraft one time as well as the other people. Even though backdraft had a fall they were by far one of the cleanest teams and had tons of energy. i think they placed in the top three becuase even though they had some mistakes they worked IT til the ending pose of their routine. And plus a lot of the teams dances were provocative I mean having girls that look like their nine taking their skirts and shaking them like marilyn monroe is too..... disbelief cant even explain.

But BACKDRAFT had some kool tumbling passes in the routine and their pyramid looked amazing but im going to stop now because if you bag on someone thats good its a little word called......JEALOUSY!!
