The small junior 5 division was FIERCE! All of the teams did AMAZING!
Power- OMFG those little girls worked it! Tumblimg AMAZING, Stunts AMAZING I almost peed my pants when they hit those tic tocks! They were so good! Only had 1 mistake which was a bust in tumbling!
Cheer Central suns- another GREAT team. They had AMAZING everything! They did so good! That girl with the headband is FIERCE!
SCV- what a great performance. Those girls worked it out! I didn't see any mistakes!
Power Xtreme- I have to give mad props to that BOMB little girl with the standing full! She busted her double and hurt her ancle but still managed to push through! Even though she was crying the whole time she was still FIERCE!
Cali- One word AMAZING! OMG everything was amazing! Great job!
wow... the judging system sucks. teams are dropping stunts and pyramids and still somehow ending up in the top 3 over teams who hit clean (and difficult) routines... am I the only one who feels this way?
Well, all I can say is from where I sat at this comp, I was VERY surprised at some of the placings as well. ALL teams that placed in all divisions were great, in no way am I trying to put down anyone. But, I truly in my heart thought that other teams should have been placed higher too. Who knows, maybe all scores were that close. I can tell you that I was told they were using USA score cheets...... things that make you go "hummmm"...Anyhow, all teams were bomb.
Rip Tide small Jr2... great team, and they really do put on a great show! So much fun to watch too.
POWER POWER POWER large Sr. Open lev2!!!!! WOW, I was completely impressed by their entire routine! Undeniable talent across the board on that team, and during their entire routine, I found myself along with another Fierce mom saying, "Wow, omg, omg... they are bomb!" A win truly deserved. John, you have done wonderful things with all of your teams, always great performances that I look forward to. And good luck to your lev 5 at Worlds as well.
American Jr/Sr. 2 (lg/sm?) LOVE this team, one of my favorites all season. Such bomb choreography, stunting, pyramids, and like Power, these kids know how to out on a great show, and cheer their little hearts out! Great job to you all, and also good luck at Worlds as well.
To my Fierce girls, I am SO PROUD of every one of you from Lions to Legend and Lucky. We have had a crazy season, and wouldn't trade any of it in for the world. Shelby and Britt, you two are unbelievable coaches, and LOVE every one of those kids as they were your own. I am so proud my daughter is a part of the Fierce Family. You two have done wonderful things with these kids, and it shows. You and the rest of the Fierce staff are second to none.
Good luck to everyone competing today (Saturday).
To everyone in our cheer world, have a blessed Easter, and good luck to all next season on all your new endeavors.
Riptide I feel the same way. I'm puzzled by the fact that teams who dropped stunts and had touchdowns placed ahead of teams who hit solid routines. Congrats to all the winners, I'm not trying to take away your glory, but I do feel the judging was not right in many divisions. Also, did anybody else feel like this competition did not live up to the hype? I was told there was not even a full spring floor backstage in warm ups. Hmmm, not very impressed with you ialc.
Annon- I feel exactly the same way, on friday night when the announcer said "Cali-Frikin- Fornia" it was over for me. Someone needs to tell IALC that if you are going to run a competition that big they have to have "INTEGRITY" If he was going to use nicknames he should have done it for every team!
I personally like the scoring system that Cheersport uses, they count ALL YOUR DROPS, PYRAMID FALLS and TOUCHDOWNS then your routine is scored. THEY DO NOT GIVE RECOGNITION TO DIFFICULT STUNTS THAT ARE NOT PULLED OFF. I am with you I will vote "NO" next year on IALC.

Freakin is a cus word at my house so I wouldn't want an announcer shouting it out at a competition even if it is a gyms nickname.
