But it is two days of teams that are only performing once....they start at 3 Friday and don't end until 9 and then again Saturday from 8 (BTW, it sucks to have to be there that early!)until 2 ish. The LA comp is definitely bigger than the Atlanta one though.
looks like a good comp! looking at the schedule what do you think is going to be a good/ tough division? i was thinking level 4 coed looks rough with riptide and nor cal being in that one..
I Think Mini 1 Will Be A Tough One! Same With Youth 3 Cheerforce and Cheer Central Suns Are Both Amazing! Junior 4 Should Be Good Also. Cali, Cheer Odyssey, and So Cal Are All AMAZING! Large Senior Open 3 Looks Like Its Going To Be Great Also! Alot Of Great Teams

Anybody notice that L3 Small Sr Open is split up and they have a small gym category? Why is this only the case for this level, I don't think they should split it, this is a championship, the divisions should not be so small! :(

I think I saw other divisions that are competing small gym.

good point with junior 4! i cant wait to see videos of all these teams after the comp!!!
annon - i agree with you.. since that division is only 3 teams.. maybe add it with small senior 3 or large senior open.. it would make the competition more exciting for them.. i mean it is a big championship comp!!
Cheer Central Suns is from Colorado I think Knight Time Cheer Force is from Texas Power Xtreme & Arizona Myths & Desert Devils & Arizona Allstars are from Arizona Macs is from Utah I think Vancouver Allstars is from Canada Las Vegas Elements is from Nevada I think Champion Cheer Storm is from New Mexico Planet Cheer is from Idaho
did notice that. Also noticed that Senior Open 4 isn't this way at all. How are they doing this? No consistancy.
If this is truly a competition a crossed the USA then it should matter if these teams have local competition. This competition doesn't need to cluster these teams to make for a good local competition. Each team should be allowed to compete in their true divisions at this comp and then wait for the end result from all the other competitions.
Starting to look like a big sales pitch to me and if this isn't run like they say it should be run, then bye bye all-levels next season. It will be just a one time shot for must teams. People are spending way too much money to be scammed in to a fake production.
Actually this comp isn't very pricey compared to most others we have been to this year. My daughter's team is only paying $25 per competitor...and because they only compete one day a hotel isn't necessary. Some teams are paying $35 and $45, but still...that's not much. I don't know what the awards are though.....has anyone heard?
To divide and split division specifically in an open division their needs to be three of each large and small or small gym and open. Maybe that is why they are not divided. For us one of our teams was placed in the small gym catagory and the other two were not, I am not sure but to me it does not matter. At worlds for level 5 it did not matter if we were small gym or not so why should they divide it here?
I agree with you airborne Owner, if this is suppose to simulate worlds, then why should small gym/ big gym matter? I think larger divisions with the best of the best competing against each other would work best.
I know it's not worlds....but I am still super excited! With the economy in shambles it is the best way for some teams to get to compete with other teams across the country. It just sucks that we have to wait until May 22nd to learn the nationwide results! Good luck everyone!!!!!
i hope any of our teams get first, that would be so cool. our junior 3 team, force, got a full paid bid. we're so proud of those little girls! ahh. i can't wait to hear how they do.
go force, fierce, severe, and if excite is there, good luck to them :) go power xtreme!
