Ok a little confused here...If AA Coed got 2nd (and I heard they deserved first but whatever) why did they not get the at large bid?  Also heard Odysseystruck got the international bid even though they got 2nd and Power got 1st.  How does this all work?  Did power deny the Int'l bid because I heard they don't even have a bid yet?
Someone please explain...Congrats to all teams though, heard it was a great competition!

aa coed already has an at large bid so the at large went to the next team in line which was victory and power int'l isnt goit to worlds so the bid went to odysseystruck

Was it fair?  I wasn't there but seeing AA coed in the past and power small senior also, it seems like AA coed should have gotten it.  But then again I wasn't ther so I wouldn't know.  Can someone shed some light and give some input?

Also why isn't power int going to worlds?  I LOVE their dance and they seem awesome!  Odyssey Struck is awesome too though!!! :)

I dont know if it was fair in this situation or not because i wasnt there. But ive seen both  teams this season and i thought power was better, but to each is own.

I believe Power int'l has crossovers from small so they cant go to worlds!

The super 6 competition was based off of the judge's favorie, so technically score wise, it cant really be coined as fair

I thought both teams were great! You could tell they both really wanted that bid. But I think Powers routine is more entertaining. I found myself getting pumped with them and I'm not even a part of their gym (i was personally just hoping aa all girl could get that at large) I also think tumbling wise power is stronger. It must have been a hard decision for the judges! Great job everyone! Especially the ladies on aa all girl, you girls really caught my attention this weekend!

AA Coed SOOOOO should have gotten the partial bid.  They rocked it.   I am not suprised though that Power got it though......they've been the fav for a long time.

just got home...LONG LONG LONG DAY.

FAVORITES/HIGHLIGHTS:

1.  Last pass from One Athletics...full whip through to double... LOVED IT especially because her smile at the end was PRICELESS!  Followed in a closed second by POWERS last pass, arabian through to double, because her slash dance was pretty AMAZING.
2.  POWER elites... full up, reload tick stretch scorp scale double...and flawless.
3.  AA coeds perfectly synchronized tumbling...and a SLEW of doubles on top of it!
4.  UCF...THE ENTIRE ROUTINE IS SOO FUN TO WATCH...i've seen a lot of Mama Mia this year and this team definitely did it the best.
5.  And finally the ridiculously delicious salads and sandwiches at the food bar...I think i gained 5 pounds no

I really enjoyed the GSSA competition, and after my competition last weekend am SO glad to be back home in NorCal where athletes cheer each other on.

AA Co-ed and POWER were amazing this weekend. Three solid performances from each team. Super Six...Judges pick-POWER. Must have been a tough one, but in the end POWER came out on top. Don't take that away from them. An all girl team landing standing fulls (3or4), two to doubles, and matching the pass skills of a co-ed team! Their elites are pretty intense and executed almost perfectly, and that pyramid, sweet! Both teams were rooting each other on. AA was happy for POWER as POWER would have been for AA, they knew it would be close. Let's take that as an example and have some class on these boards! Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic weekend!

well from my understanding one athletics beat victory cheer in the regular two day competition...but then they had to go back and throw that routine full out again(not easy for any of these teams)
i see that one athletics placed behind victory in the super 6
not sure what happened..
idk if they have a bid or were hoping for one...
i dont even know how they judge super 6
but i personally think bids should be given out from the scores of both days not one routine they had to do being tired and possibly not following the same score sheet...?
