How many teams do each of these programs have?

WOW! Congrats to both programs on the merger!

On a side note---another merger in california. Hopefully smaller teams will stay around because as of right now there are going to be 4? big programs in so cal. California Bullets, Cheerforce, Pacific Coast Magic, and OC.

Kind of weird to see but i think it will make the competetions together more intense than they have been this season.

As a PCM mom, I couldn't be happier about the combining of these teams. Well, not happy about having to buy another uniform, but I am sure it will be amazing!

Congrats to Kellie and Troy!

cali has like 18 or 19 including dance and next season i believe they will exceed 20, cheerforce has 9 without the merger so i would assume next season with both gyms they will have 15-17 teams, Pacific coast magic said they will probably have 12, and oc has i think 7 ot 9 this season.

I expect it to be a growing year for all of these gyms more than ever this coming season because of how well their all around programs have been doing even with the economy in the state that it is. Good luck to all!

"ShowSomeSpirit" Both Locations are about an hour and 15 minutes away from each other

As far as level 5 teams is concerned from what we know it will be

Murrietta Location-Small Limited Co-Ed level 5

Laguna Hills Location-Youth level 5, Junior level 5, Small Sr Level 5

But anything can change

what about SCV?  they have at least 10 or 11 teams.  i know cuz i always hear their name like 50 times at comps (ok, maybe i exagerate, ha ha).  mostly in the younger divisions, but still...

Well, we all wish you luck.  I am hoping all goes well with you.  But SoCal, cf, ca, bladez all did this and their programs are not looking as good as they did last year.
Ca use to sweep at every event, not so much this year.  And cf hiding out and now emerges not as good this year.  Something to think about.  I know for a fact the cheerleading world's  best of the best, such as cheer athletics, spirit of texas has not done this.  And yet  both of your gyms has done so well this year.  We will see about the so called super powers.  Something to think about.  Good luck with your business venture.

Are you JOKING?? CA Camarillo isnt doing well? They are undefeated this whole season. Sr3 took second in one competition...All the other teams have been First in every competition. If thats not good, then I dont know what is. Congrats Magic and PC... You guys will be great! And CF isnt hidding out. They are doing just fine!! Goodl uck to everyone in 2010.

To all who read these great message boards,

I have never posted and feel that this is the right time for me to come aboard!! The last four years have been the most exciting and rewarding time for my PC Cheer family.  We have seen growth in our athletes through their cheerleading skills and retention, but more importantly the strength of our gym family.  I have been blessed with great athletes, great parents and a powerhouse staff.  The last four years have become the introduction to OUR continued Success!

Troy and I have worked diligently side by side over the course of the last few years: supporting each other as owners and discussing the goals and aspirations we have for our two programs.  Within the last year, we; together have realized that our families are built in the same manner: by friendship, loyalty, and pride.  Within these characteristics we knew that have been working together already and that a merger into one program, one family, was the concete answer that would solidify our relationship.  He is one of the first cheer gym owners in California, he holds 3 years of accomplishing the journey to WORLDS, but more so he is my friend.  The friend that I have called on so many times for advice, for shared practices, teamwork and to just vent.  This merge means that I now will be able to share my everyday passion, aspirations and be able to coach side by side with my friend and the elite staff that we will share together: Sean Evans, Carlos Bedolla, Tim Passalacqua, Jessica Macchiavello Nickel, Ali Miller, Ryan Wiedersphan, Josh Sipora, Cassie Valentine, Lance Ward and Brandi West Ward, Kyle Maremont and more that will be announced at a later date.

This sport has grown tremendously over the course of the last four years and with the name Pacific Coast Magic our goal is to continue the reason why we started: FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAMETogether, we will compete amongst the nations best with our clean, creative and high diffculty routines.  With this formula, I can not wait to show the world OUR PROGRAM: Pacific Coast Magic!

There are many questions to this merge and I just wanted you to hear it from me: The majority of our teams will stay at their current locations, however our levels 5 teams (Junior, Senior & Open International divisions) may combine to be the best or if there is enough at both locations, they too will stay at their current location.  One thing is for sure: each location will have a team for each athlete that becomes a part of OUR FAMILY!

Thank you all for the support and love as we endure the best time of our lives TOGETHER! Good luck to everyone else for the remanding this season and at Worlds!

Stay Tuned for more great news from the Owners ofPacific Coast Magic!
