nor cals whole team does full ups. they have 5 stunts doing full ups. nor cal has more stunting difficulty than fame i believe. correct me if im wrong. havent seen them do partner stunts in there new routines so if anyone has a video id like to see!

nor cal has the fake full ups.. theres a difference when the flyer only does a full up and when the whole stunt spins with the flyer which nor cal does the second one.. fame has half and half.. two real full ups and two fake

I didnt know fullups were fake unless you spin around, you learn something everyday. Overall I felt nor cal had more difficulty but the judges felt differently. I'm glad fame is adding to their routine, it looks much better than what they had the first half of the season. Congrats to their level 3 team too.

You are right. I would expect partner stutns from Nor Cal, since they have guys from their college team on their Sr teams.

I wish nor cal had a college team, they would be fun to watch. I also wish people would check their facts before posting.

OKOK, not THIS year...but PAST college teams...members of NorCal's Sr teams were on last year's college team. That is a fact.

POWER Sac Senior 2 Open (RED) won best stunts.

The award was based on how difficult your stunts were for the level you were in and % of members doing those stunts.

Cheers
JOHN

Power senior 2 is awesome! I wish my daughter would cheer there instead of doing her high school, but whatever makes her happy. We have never done all stars, but whenever there is a competition in sac we always go to see the amazing teams. I watched the videos of fame and norcal because I was curious about "fake ups" vs "full ups" and I think I understand it. Nor Cal does not do a real full up, they do what fames outside two stunts do. Fames middle groups do full ups. Regardless, I enjoyed both teams. I have not seen either this year, but I have to say at this competition Fame has the most difficulty and cleanest routine (no touch downs & they worked their routine, although one basket seemed to have gone late). I look forward to seeing great things out of both these teams (sadly, on youtube)

I emailed NCA to find out which team got it and Lissa Wayland, Director of Events for NCA, said it was the small team

John from Nor Cal Elite is the same age as myself. We both graduated the same year and have late birthdays. I am a super super senior on AA. we are lucky enough to have the privilege of having birthdays making the age cutoffs. The one plus of having a late birthday... getting to cheer two extra years on a sr team :)

great job to everyone at NCA SAC

Actually if you didnt notice at the awards for that division from this weekend.  NCA had no clue which team of mine was which team and didnt even include in the Large team in the results.  I spoke to lissa as well yesterday, because they (NCA) were still confused of which team was which.  We finally straightened everything out.  The SMALL Senior 2 team is from Modesto (Blue) by the score sheets I have they won the division.  The LARGE Senior 2 team is (Red) they won best stunts, they were the ones doing the tick tock one legged stunts(prep level, and connected by a base), and the tick tock in the pyrmaid.

Cheers
JOHN

I never said anything about AGE. All I said was, if a guy has been on a college team for 2 years, I would expect him to be able to partner stunt with 90 lb flyers!!! Plus, a level 4 team with stacked level 5 kids, should be better!

Give it up Alex, we all know you bash them whenever you can. They have had a great season and you cant bring them down no matter how hard you try. Now we know who those nasty anonymous posts were from a while back before you had to sign in. There is a name tied to the bashing, I like it this way much better.

I believe the majority of athletes on this team are level 4.  The only reason some are able to be on a level 5 is that now there is a level 5 team they can also participate on thanks to the merge.  It is not to say the level 4 teams they have gone against dont have athletes who could also be on level 5 teams, if they could field one.  Many level 4 athletes push their skills to try a level 5 team too, and I say kudos to them.

There was ONE boy who was on both college and Sr level 5 last year, because he wanted the chance to compete at worlds. I don't see why that's such a terrible thing.
