yes CA did place 4th in dallas even though Magic placed 10th, they were only 0.2 behind just throwing that out there
plus cheerforce and PAC(who have beaten CA) did not attend NCA so 4th place in dallas doesnt really tell us much when talking about who is going to win this weekend once again, i love CA and hope to see them perform at their best, but this is a tough division
TO BE HONEST CA DID NOT DESERVE 4TH PLACE IN DALLAS SO DON'T USE THAT EXCUSE BECAUSE DAY ONE THEY WERE HORRIBLE!! DROPPED 3 STUNTS, HAD TOUCHDOWNS. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WE'RE UP THERE AND SHOW SOME SPIRIT YOU ARE RIGHT MAGIC WAS ONLY 0.2 AWAY AND PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT.. BULLETSBABY HOW CAN YOU PUT PAC SO LOW? THEY ALREADY HAVE A PAID BID AND I LIKE HOW YOU PUT YOUR TEAM FIRST CA SMALL SENIOR HAS NOT IMPRESSED ANYONE THIS YEAR AND DON'T USE YOUR 2ND PLACE AT WORLDS TO AN ADVANTAGE USA MIGHT LIKE YOU BUT IF YOU DON'T HIT DON'T EXPECT TO BE UP THERE
MY PREDICTIONS: CHEERFORCE PAC MAGIC CA FIERCE OC VICTORY DESERT STORM
I AM A HUGE FAN OF PAC AND MAGIC THIS YEAR PAC BECAUSE THEY'RE AMAZING AND ALWAYS IMPRESS ME AND MAGIC BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS HIT SOLID AND THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO GET A PAID BID MY FRIEND IS ON MAGIC AND THEY WERE 1 TOUCHDOWN AWAY FROM A PAID IN PALM SPRINGS THEY BEAT PACS 2ND DAY SCORE BUT UNFORTUNETLY PAC BEAT THEM DAY ONE SO THEY WERE BEHIND THEM
I'm not 100% sure that you are correct... Magic got 5th at Spirit Sports, i don't think one touchdown dropped them three places and caused them to loose the bid.
sm senior 5 PAC CHEERFORCE CA BULLETS MAGIC FIERCE DESERT STORM VICTORY
i think it will be very close between cheerforce and pac though seeing cheerforce is the only team thats going that has beaten PAC so you never know what will happen but from what im hearing PAC gets better every competition and have had a great season and nobody has seen cheerforce for a while so we will see! good luck everyone
I'm not a hundred percent sure but it was pretty close to one touchdown...A touchdown at Spirit Sports got as much as a deduction as a stunt fall. Not quite sure of the exact break down from 5th to 2nd, but I do know it wasn't much more than a touchdown....Magic had a higher score on day two than the second place winner (pac)...So Magic WAS extremely close.

Ok now. First off, maybe you are clueless as to how scores in dallas were calculated. 20% of day one score, and 80% of day 2. Fortunately and unfortunately for cali they had a TRAGIC day one and dropped some stunts however their sad performance wouldnt impact there final score as much as people thought it would. Day two, they had a touchdown? so their score was significantly higher.
What people are blind to with magic hitting and cali not is that cali has more diffculty. Im going to only use running tumbling here as an example. Magic throws layouts in their running tumbling sequence. Layouts are a level 4 skill. Cali does not throw a single layout. All passes end in fulls or doubles. Magics tumbling isnt as clean as cali either.
to say someone didnt deserve what placement they came in is ignorant. First off, if you think its wrong, go get certified and start judging. Second of all, these kids are working their butts off to max out the scoresheet. Some hit it in ALL areas, and some THINK they hit it in all areas.

Wow!! Don't take it so personal. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions...right?
It is funny though how you say that Magic has level 4 tumbling and that it isn't as clean as CA, yet Magic had NO touch downs or falls in Dallas ALL weekend. They also didn't DROP any stunts ALL Weekend. Magic may throw in a couple of layouts (which is within the guidlines) but they also throw in more doubles that CA as well. So please get your facts straight.
As far as Dallas goes...CA dropped 3 times and had 2 touch downs on the first day (20%) but still came in 6th out of 22...I agree with....well many people on these posts. There is something very wrong with that....

trust me, im not taking it personally. Its been irritating however hearing about how magic thinks they are being "jipped" ever since spirit sports and how cali doesnt deserve the placements they have been receiving.
Again back to dallas, it makes a difference with the routines in which are executed. If your maxing out on your score sheets in level 5, you should not be affected TOO much by the deductions. If you are not maxing out in ALL categories, the smallest deduction will greatly affect your score because you already arent maxing out. This is where in my opinion majic is getting screwed.
you need to do more than just max out the score sheet. especially at usa. its going to be about the whole show. top gun is a perfect example. i dont think ive ever seen them really max out the score sheet. but they put on such a great show that they make the judges forget about counting skills.
i think usa nationals is going to be full of surprises. i dont even want to predict because i havent seen some of these teams for a long time.
I agree with Cheerguru...It does take more than maxing out a score sheet. Especially at USA...You can't just try to throw an element in hopes of maxing out a scoresheet. You better execute it...You don't get points for trying or mediocrity.
Honestly..I love CA...But I have never heard anyone from Magic saying anything about getting jipped. A coach from fierce said SHE was the one who said it...Any posts I have read from Magic cheerleaders have been pretty positive...So don't put things in peoples mouths...
This division has ALL incredible teams and I can't wait to see what everyone brings to the mats...So good luck everyone!!

yup your right.. because i know on our score sheets we were pretty close too. our deductions literally screwed us lol if we didnt have them then we definitely would have gotten higher than 6th.

Well at USA their motto is known to be "dont put it in the routine if you cant stick it" so who cares if you max out a score sheet.. if you cant hit it then why is it in your routine in the first place? i rather have a clean hitting routine then falling all over the place. jmo though. and honestly i think its the exact opposite of what everybody is saying. i think magic has more difficulty and CA is just super super clean (minus the falls). so with that said, for this weekend i think its a toss up between the teams who have difficulty, can HIT, and most of all put on a GREAT show =) and all the teams in our division are capable of that! good luck sm 5 teams <3
Ok everyone is intitled to their own opinion and obviously many people agree that CA shouldn't of been up there with how many falls and touchdowns they had and Magic may have a few layouts (3) but they have more doubles then CA and they have a 3 to a double which CA did not perform in Dallas so before you post on here since i'm sure your on CA you need to look at both routines CA doesn't do anything harder than magic look at magics stunt sequence and look at CAs theres a huge difference. Magic only threw 3 doubles this weekend but have a total of 8 doubles which they will throw at worlds cause they are saving them right now. Your right CA is known to be clean but difficulty wise magic beats CA
WOW!! Some of you need to get your facts straight especially before you start bashing MAGIC cause i was in Dallas and Magic had a much harder routine then CA and hit both days and stop putting words into magics mouth cause i've never heard someone from magic come on here and say something mean they're always very possitive GOODLUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS THIS WEEKEND but if you take a closer look at both routines magic should outscore ca at every competition that's why people complain on here cause it's wrong
please go watch both routines from NCA again. difficulty is not everything, and to be honest im pretty sure CA and magic are even in the difficulty part of the score sheet. However, what magic lacks CA absolutely kills them in. CA sm sr is the sharpest team at CA they are very precise about every arm placement and motion, they have amazing timing on jumps not to mention almost everyone has perfect jumps, there kick double and double down technique is one hundred times better, they put up 2 sets of stunts and ending a routine with a dance like that leaves an impression on the judges. that is why even with mistakes CA can place so high. just because you are throwing the same skills does not mean in anyway you are just as good as the other team.
