Just out of plain curiousity...why would a team from Florida come all the way to California to get a paid bid?  They'll spend more money going for a paid in California then they would to stick with an at large and pay for the registration and lodging.  I'm all for teams coming from out of the area, but it doesn't make sense to go for a Paid bid across the country when Worlds is in your home state. 

Or am I looking at this the wrong way?

I have no idea! Lol they are supposed to be bringing all of their teams so maybe its not just for the bid. That could just be something extra!

that is a little odd...

do teams that live in florida or georgia stay in disney world for worlds??
or do they just drive in like any other competition...?
if they have a full paid i don't see why they wouldn't stay there

Magic is not on the schedule yet cause they are competing friday, sat, and sunday since they didn't go to a USA regional

Rocksolid -- I don't think so... I talked to Sr limited coed dad over the weekend (stayed at the same hotel) -- and he never mentioned coming out to CA. He did mention UCA was in a few weeks -- So that must be it.. UcA Disney world USA disneyland -- thats probably where the mix up was.....
