i think this is where people start to get things mixed up about what i'm saying...

I'M NOT SAYING THE PLACEMENTS WERE WRONG...I'M NOT SAYING THAT THE BIDS WENT OUT TO THE WRONG TEAMS...

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you take a look at score sheets vs. performances...THEY DONT ADD UP!!!!!

with some teams they do, but they DON'T for a good number of other teams. you would think, that at a "NATIONALS" competition, you would have ur judges certified to a point where you wouldnt have these type of stipulations.

THAT IS IT! and if you look back at other comments, it wasn't just the scoring system that was a problem. there were many other things wrong with this competition. AND IT DEFINATELY WASNT A NATIONALS...!!!!!

BY THE WAY...BOYCOTT USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this competition wasn't my favorite.  It didn't seem like it was well run and the venue was horrendously utilized.  Food and drinks kept running out and the USA staff wasn't exactly knowledgeable about anything.

AWARDS made no sense and the calling of bids was so unclear that no team actually knew who won anything besides the two paids.  I know that the at larges were handed out by discretion but I truly feel they weren't handed out with correct judgement, hence all the angry and confused participators.
People keep saying USA will never change but I really hope they do.  Over all, the comp wasn't too bad its just little things that a well established company like USA should have worked out a LONG time ago.
In particular the score sheets were RIDICULOUS, as many teams had comments on skills or mistakes they never did.  They have instant playback yet, I feel none of the judges actually paid attention to the routines at all.  I have this horribly sour taste in my mouth and I feel so sorry for all the teams that wasted their time.

AMEN!!!!!!!

this is what I'm talking about...USA needs to get their POOP together...I HOPE NO ONE GOES TO USA ALL STAR NATIONALS NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!

Wait - I'm confused.  If the placements were correct and the bids were correct then the score sheets couldn't have been that off, could they?  This doesn't make sense.

As far as the poster criticising the food and beverage service, that is really about the LA Convention Center administration and not USA.

I don't think teams will actually boycott USA Nationals because of Worlds bids awarded.  Any teams that don't have a bid this late in the season will continue to attend in the future.  JMO

LOL HA HA you're so funny...

if you would take ur head out of ur a$$ and look at score sheets from other teams, you would see the inconsistant scoring comments. you would think that someone who knew anything about cheerleading would know and understand this...but you prolly don't!!!!!

and like the idiot you are, you'll prolly comment back with some vague comment about teams that didnt win and crap like that. so go ahead.

i'll continue to say what i want to say because it wasn't just me, there were SO MANY other coaches out there that had the same views. SO KISS MY CRACK TRASH!!!!!

see ya tonight at the cemetary and u can watch me piss on your mothers grave. LOL i thought it was funny, you'll get over it.

exactly...you would think so huh???

but they don't.

PLEASE...JUST TRUST ME...

a lot of teams had score sheets that didnt make sense, i promise you!!!!

lets not forget about the mishap with the Senior Level 3 awards ceremony...how bout that for a "well run Nationals"

trust me people, if you knew the real story behind the whole situation, you would know exactly what i'm talking about.

OR...

you can ask one of the GYMS that have boycotted USA and ARE STILL BOYCOTTING USA.

this is why my teams dont go to USA... no scoring rubric, HORRIBLY underqualified judges, and the most vauge scoresheet in the industry, not to mention that this comp is really just a glorified regionals... american grand and duel in the desert are really good alternatives to get local worlds bids.

The only nationals that is probably a TRUE nationals in my opinion is CHEERSPORT. It has the most widely representation of states of any nationals.  Two years ago 36 states and Canada were represented.  Ok, NCA as well.  However, even NCA is mainly TX, OK, AR.

Thank you for all your support... We are all so proud of our Sr. Elite girls. They went out and hit 3 solid performances this past weekend. We made minor adjustments to really hit the USA score sheet, as we do for all competitions, and those 20 girls came together and really put on a show.
We would like to congratulate ALL our competitiors on a great competition. We all know what it is like to have a rough weekend. We've had several of those this season. Reagardless of all the negativity on this board, we are true believers of "you win some, you lose some". It is almost imposssible to be "untouchable" now and days with so many great teams coming up on the West Coast. All we can do is keep working hard and make sure that we put our absolute best on the floor.

There is no reason to be a bad sport... regardless if you agree with the outcome or not, "it is what it is". All the bashing, trash talking ,kicking and screaming is not going to change anything. Let's celebrate these athletes performances, and not try to tarnish their success.

These kids go out there and give it their all, we are all so proud of them. Have a great remainder of the season... Good luck to All teams going to Worlds.

The CA Bullets wish you best!!!
