Did CA say they watered down their routine, or did someone else say they did? It didn't appear to be a watered down routine to me.
Maybe they made the shirts in response to all the abuse on these boards. I thought CA was fantastic this weekend. Apparently so did USA.
ha thats what i was thinking
many of their shirts have to do with haters...ha i wonder why people on these boards are brutal to them
Jealousy?
Yes "Bulletsbaby" said they did water down their routine for this weekend and about the shirts why would you be proud to know so many people hate you? laugh out loud and also in response to the person who said they won't do well at worlds. Most of us have seen them try and hit a difficult routine and fail this season so it will be interesting to see how well they end up doing and i would like to tell the girls from Magic and CheerForce that you were amazing this weekend and you gained so much respect keep your heads high cause both of these teams will do very well at worlds.
No i said they did tucks and lays on purpose i never said there whole routine was watered down thank you dont put words in my mouth
Yeah I didn't really see much of the watered down. It definitely was bid worthy.
If you ask me: The choreography is the best in the division. They have just as many layouts/tucks in their two to full section. They have two jump sections to backs. What... Their partner stunt only has 3/5 full ups...? Maybe they will add in a little more in the stunt sequence... I don't think that's most important here. They we're the only team in the whole division that was mistakeless and to me the most important aspect of their routine is how well they perform and how the execute everything. Those two things are undeniable. They are no stingrays by any means... But they definitely work the crowd and execute amazing.
Stingray just won their 1st nationals this weekend i love stringray but this year there now flawless like the past years sr sm 5 is gonna be the most intense divison this year at worlds :)) i have know clue who is gonna win magic, fierce, ca, cheerforce, stingray ,spirit of texas i have know clue and i cant really perdict
I am confused as to what placements people were expecting. People are really upset about the scoring, but how should the divisions had played out? I felt that where people had more difficulty, another team may have made up points in cleanliness. It isn't all about what tumbling or stunts are thrown. People forget about jumps and overall choreography. That is one thing CA has over a lot of teams. Their routines look very smooth and are executed very well. I feel this makes up for lack in difficulty. Did people feel Magic should have been first? Or Cheerforce? Where is all the anger coming from? just wondering
Lets say you have a team that the whole team has a standing full yet one or two touched when executed. They should get max points for tumbling and two deductions for the touches. However at this competition they gave both teams the same overall tumbling score as a team that only has two standing fulls that had perfect execution with no deductions which gave the easier routine the higher overall score. I believe it should be the one who the whole team did the standing full tumbling even though they had two touches they have the more "difficult" routine.
Yes I understand this......but how do you think the placing should have went THIS weekend? That is what I was wondering. Everyone is upset about this weekend, because simple routines apparently won, but how do you think the divisions should have ended up? Like actual teams not examples. Because no one this weekend had a whole team with standing fulls. Just wondering, because there is a lot of anger about the final placements.
this competition wasn't my favorite. It didn't seem like it was well run and the venue was horrendously utilized. Food and drinks kept running out and the USA staff wasn't exactly knowledgeable about anything.
AWARDS made no sense and the calling of bids was so unclear that no team actually knew who won anything besides the two paids. I know that the at larges were handed out by discretion but I truly feel they weren't handed out with correct judgement, hence all the angry and confused participators.
People keep saying USA will never change but I really hope they do. Over all, the comp wasn't too bad its just little things that a well established company like USA should have worked out a LONG time ago.
In particular the score sheets were RIDICULOUS, as many teams had comments on skills or mistakes they never did. They have instant playback yet, I feel none of the judges actually paid attention to the routines at all. I have this horribly sour taste in my mouth and I feel so sorry for all the teams that wasted their time.
LOL so next time ur going to get on stage with me right? I know you've got some fierce shimmy left in ya! PS, I thought fierce still looked amazing, they definitely didn't water down anything and it was just too bad that this past weekend didn't hit as hard as I know those girls can. However, I love aggressive ur last pass girl was, her doubles were gorgeous =)
umm we all know that cali is going to redo their whole routine for worlds... so get over it.. they looked awesome and deserved their bid.. worlds wont be watered down at all... you wont even recognize the routine cuz it WONT be the same... congrats cali :)
FYI folks, that is the same routine that won the chorg. award at NCA (minus a double full)! That's hardly watered down! I wondered what excuse people would use to justify either 1, why CA should have lost/not placed high or 2, why CA won. OK so it's No. 2,(lol) why CA won... it wasn't because they watered down their routine because they didn't. It wasn't because the judges were stupid, USA had poor warm up area, not nice, etc. They won because they scored mad points in all areas, hit an award winning routine and performand their butts off! There are people on here that saw that same routine at NCA yet you're talking about it being watered down? And those of you who haven't seen the routine at NCA, the last competition, how do you know what their routine was? I don't get it. Do the right thing and don't feed into something that you know it's not. It's time to move on get ready for the next competition. There have been a few voices of reason on this board and no matter how well they explain it; there are still individuals that will not or cannot let it go. They're just too bitter to reason with. Well, it's time stop the maddness and move on.
Congratulations to the Ladies of California All Stars, thanks for the show! Good Job girls and we'll see you at Worlds!

CA was Great...No one is disputing that.. But it was one of your own that said your teams routine was watered down..on purpose (bulletsbaby) Go back and read it..if they haven't edited it by now. They did more tucks and layouts than normal. And the 3 out of 5 full ups to go into a stunt was well NOT that difficult. Look at the spirit sport routine or Dallas. There are obvious changes. Where did the Tick Tocks go?? Other teams had way MORE difficulty. I have no doubt that they will change the routine for WORLDS, because EVERYONE KNOWS that they NEED more difficulty to do well..
The fact is they hit clean in 3 routines. Everyone knew if they did that they would win. So there really no surprise. Congrats CA. You pulled it off...AGAIN!! No one can fault you for doing your job. I 'm excited to see your routine at Worlds. I have no doubt it will be incredible. I love your dance and your music is catchy. You don't know how frusterating it is to have your competitors music in your head all day. AHAHAHAH!!! Good luck and let's drop all this and just be happy for each other...I really would love all of the West Coast to come together at Worlds. It would make it so much more fun!!
To the guy in the blue spangled head band in LA. I saw you in Vegas and remebered you quicky. You were the guy in San Jose in December without your club video taping the other teams. Your mistake was sitting next to the same mom on both days that kept you from taping her team. Perhaps I should have let you tape you needed it. Your teams haven't even been mentioned. Karma's a B... I just didn't know you were a coach.

Watch the Jr. 3 Fusion won over PAC. PAC's routine was much more difficult. From the sync. tumbling to the pyrimid to the dance. Yet Fusion won even with a bobble on the basket full. I thought I missed something then I watched it again and I don't agree with this placement. They said my Daughter touched she is in the second row left of the middle of the opening tucks. She NEVER touched! I don't know what they were looking at. They did mostly back hand springs we did numerous mixed tumbling passes all ending in tucks. I don't get it.

As most of you are still complaining over the judgeing the fact of the matter is USA doesn't care about difficulty and everyone knows that now, it's all about having a great and clean routine and now everyone is well aware of it for next year so let's move on like Cheer2468 said. Congratulations to CA they did their job and after their performance on sunday everyone knew it was theirs now let's get ready for WORLDS!! It will approach quick and I know our Seniors will be ready looking forward to seeing all the amazing california teams and i hope we represnt not only our state but the west coast! Let's bring home the GOLD, SILVER OR BRONZE!
